The position requires an individual to be able to pick orders in a timely and accurate manner while maintaining and operating a safe work environment. It is important that this position possesses the willingness to accept change and be proactive rather than reactive. This individual must be certified in both LTL and Ship Line picking and packing and be versatile enough to work in either area.\nWhat will your day look like?\nOperate powered industrial trucks (PIT)\nAbility to use RF technology including wearing a gladiator type device. Using the RF device, pick orders in an accurate and timely manner to include:The ability to stack boxes onto a pallet to obtain the best fit. Pallet heights may be up to 84 inches. \nLabeling pallets with the applicable movable unit (MU)\nApplication, where necessary, of the correct customer carton labels during the picking process\nAbility to solve problems by picking issues as they are found and identify to the Supervisor or Team Lead if errors are repetitive\n\nMaintain a clean work environment when working in the rack, aisle, and PIT locations\nNotify immediately the Supervisor of any safety issues\nWillingness and ability to work between LTL and Ship Line order picking\nWork either an 8- or 10-hour day plus overtime as required\nFrequent and repetitive lifting is required up to at minimum of 50 pounds\nAbility to communicate effectively\nMust have the ability to process international orders\nSuccessfully complete one day Train the Trainer class\nTraining certification of LTL and Ship Line picking\nEnsure all safety guidelines are followed and safety violations are reported promptly and immediately\nAll other duties as assigned\nQualifications\nWhat will you bring to the table?\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nPrevious leadership experience preferred\nMust possess good communication skills and interpersonal skills\nTrain the Trainer certification or equivalent within three months of assignment\nBe goal oriented and able to work well under pressure\nDemonstrate good judgement and must be able to work independently and demonstrate effective initiative\nGoal oriented, able to work under pressure, and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment\nBe certified in all pick types, and be proficient in shipping instructions for all pick types\nPossess basic math and keyboard skills\nAttention to detail to adhere to 99.92% pick accuracy and maintain 95% efficiency rating.\nBe proficient in the shipping instructions for all pick types. \nPossess a safety-first mindset. \nCompany Values:\nMust adhere to The Gorilla Glue Company’s Core Values that ensure everyone works together to exceed expectations.\nHave fun, be passionate and show it!\nAct with integrity and respect in all relationships.\nCommunicate openly and appreciate the effort of others.\nEmbrace knowledge, growth, and change.\nStrive for excellence in what we do every day!\nAre you ready to join one of Cincinnati’s Top Workplaces?
