The Manufacturing Data Entry Specialist maintains accurate manufacturing and product data within Oracle ERP systems. This role supports engineering, operations, packaging, supply chain, and product development by entering, updating, validating, and managing manufacturing records and documentation. The position supports data integrity, change-management workflows, job instruction administration, work definition maintenance, and production execution records.
Temporary Full-Time Position
This is a full-time temporary position intended to support current business needs. Based on present expectations, the assignment is anticipated to last approximately 90 days, with a potential end date around the end of 2026 or early 2027. The duration of the assignment may be adjusted based on business needs. While extension or conversion to a regular position is not anticipated at this time, employment decisions will be based on business requirements and organizational needs.

What will your day look like?
- • Enter and process approved engineering and manufacturing change requests in Oracle.
- • Review source documentation for completeness before routing records through established workflows.
- • Update affected parts, assemblies, manufacturing records, and product attributes as directed by approved changes.
- • Maintain manufacturing attributes including tooling references, crew sizes, package sizes, production rates, units per tray, and shift parameters.
- • Create and update Oracle Work Definitions using approved specifications.
- • Enter routing sequences, operations, labor and machine resources, supply types, production parameters, and manufacturing structures.
- • Verify component relationships and links to approved bills of material (BOMs).
- • Maintain work definitions for internal and contract manufacturing operations.
- • Create and upload job instruction records, attachments, and revision documentation in Oracle.
- • Route job instructions through designated approval workflows and track document status through publication.
- • Create rework records and enter approved routing, material, quantity, and execution information.
- • Maintain supporting rework documentation and process approved records for release.
- • Perform routine data reviews and support data cleanup and audit activities.
- • Validate entries against approved source documents and identify missing or inconsistent information.
- • Escalate discrepancies, technical questions, and approval decisions to the appropriate functional owner.
- • Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, packaging, planning, quality, supply chain, and product development.
- • Maintain organized records and manage multiple priorities while meeting established deadlines.
- • Follow company procedures, document-control requirements, and data-governance standards.
Qualifications
What you bring to the table:
- • Education: High school diploma or GED required. An associate degree in Business, Manufacturing Technology, Supply Chain, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- • Experience: Two or more years of experience in data entry, ERP administration, manufacturing support, document control, or a related role is preferred.
- • ERP Systems: Experience using Oracle ERP, Oracle Cloud, SAP, PLM, or a comparable enterprise system is preferred.
- • Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with bills of material (BOMs), routings, work definitions, manufacturing attributes, job instructions, and change-control processes is preferred.
- • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to enter, organize, validate, and maintain detailed information.
- • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, completeness, consistency, and document control when processing manufacturing data.
- • Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain organized records, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- • Problem Escalation: Ability to recognize discrepancies, gather the relevant supporting information, and route questions to the appropriate technical or functional owner.
- • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, dependable, process-oriented, and capable of working independently within established standards and approval requirements.

Role Scope
This position focuses on data maintenance, workflow administration, document control, and Oracle transaction processing. Engineering decisions such as make-versus-buy determinations, manufacturing strategy, technical approvals, and resource ownership remain with the appropriate engineering or functional authority.
