$23.00-$28.00/hour (DOE)

Are you mechanically inclined and looking for a long-term career? We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair equipment at a water treatment facility. We welcome experienced mechanics as well as motivated apprentices who have a strong mechanical aptitude and are eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment throughout the facility.
• Service and repair valves, pumps, compressors, engine generators, boilers, motors, pipes, and fittings.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Complete maintenance reports and work orders using a computer.
• Identify equipment issues and recommend repairs.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Preferred

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical, plumbing, or welding.
• Experience working on industrial equipment or machinery.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Pay & Schedule

• $23.00-$28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Monday-Friday
• Full-time, long-term opportunity.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Clean or substantially clean background (no recent offenses or violent crimes).
• Mechanical aptitude or maintenance experience.
• Comfortable using a computer for reporting and documentation.
