If you are too, let's talk.\nAs a Product Acceleration Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving Okta's success through the deployment and implementation of new products. You will collaborate with various stakeholders throughout Product and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to support customers' goals and strategies.\nWe are looking for an enthusiastic, self-starting professional with a strong hunger to learn and develop expertise in the Okta platform and the broader Identity industry. You will help drive the design, development, and optimization of our products to deliver unparalleled customer experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Customer Success, and GTM, to understand customer business outcomes and craft technical solutions to solve their challenges.\nDuties and responsibilities:\nCollaborate with various stakeholders throughout Product and GTM teams, contributing to progressive milestones to grow Okta and support customers' strategies.\nCommunicate solutions effectively to customers and other teams, outlining how product capabilities and features drive value and differentiation.\nUnderstand customer business challenges and craft technical solutions to solve them.\nStrategize with the account team on compelling solution positioning for new Okta Products.\nEffectively collaborate with PM & PMM to provide field and customer input on new product offerings.\nParticipate in cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to understand problems and find answers to tactical challenges.\nConduct hands-on technical implementation, troubleshooting, and testing of products.\nSupport a global, distributed team across multiple time zones by providing flexible working arrangements and regular communication.\nAdvocate for product adoption and usage through content creation and community engagement.\nQualifications:\nHighly motivated and self-driven professional with a background in cyber security and identity and access management, looking for a technical role with a focus on learning and delivering new product innovations to external customers.\nTechnical Skills:\nHands-on experience with multiple Okta products, with demonstrated proficiency in at least 2 core product areas.\nBackground in identity and access management with foundational knowledge of Okta product offerings.\nFamiliarity with identity federation and user management protocols such as SAML 2.0, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.\nKnowledge of enterprise web technologies and cloud architectures.\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity concepts and frameworks (e.g., NIST).\nExperience working with RESTful APIs and orchestration tools.\nProgramming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) are a plus.\nFamiliarity with common access control models (e.g., RBAC, ABAC).\nFamiliarity with governance frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or GDPR.\nExperience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) or Privileged Access Management (PAM) is a plus.\nCommunication Skills:\nAbility to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, including internal teams and external customers.\nAbility to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nStrong active listening skills with the ability to understand customer business goals, objectives, and priorities.\nCommunicates effectively with customers to identify needs and evaluate technical solutions.\nContinually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.\nProfessional Experience:\n4+ years of technical experience delivering identity solutions to external customers (e.g., Professional Services/Sales Engineering/Support)\n2+ years of software Sales or Pre-sales experience: selling identity solutions to large enterprise customers, developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, building strong relationships with key decision-makers\nA Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline is required. \nRelevant cybersecurity certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH, are a plus.\nBackground in identity and access management, with expertise in various Okta product offerings\n#P21394_3573442\nThe annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:\n$141,000—$193,600 USD\nBelow is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
