If you are too, let's talk.\nRole Summary\nThis leader manages a globally distributed team of employees, contractors, and vendor partners supporting AV systems, hybrid meetings, executive events, and workplace technologies. The role balances operational excellence with long-term planning, process improvement, technology standards, vendor management, and people development.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nLead the global AV Operations and Events team, setting clear goals, operating standards, and service expectations across regions.\n\nBuild a strong people-leadership culture through coaching, regular feedback, career development, cross-training, and succession planning.\n\nOversee daily AV support, workplace technology services, and in-person, virtual, and hybrid meetings across global offices.\n\nLead technical and logistical planning for high-visibility events, executive forums, company meetings, and external-facing productions.\n\nServe as a trusted technical advisor for C-level executives, senior leaders, and white-glove events.\n\nManage production vendors, venues, SOWs, RFPs, and external partners to ensure quality delivery and cost-effective outcomes.\n\nDrive standardization, documentation, maintenance practices, incident management, and Root Cause Analysis for AV and workplace technology services.\n\nUse metrics and dashboards to track utilization, SLAs, support trends, spend, room performance, and event demand.\n\nPartner with Workplace, IT, Security, Comms, and business teams to improve collaboration spaces, event experiences, and hybrid work capabilities.\n\nEvaluate industry trends and recommend technology, process, and service improvements that scale globally.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring to the Role\n8+ years of experience in AV operations, workplace technologies, unified collaboration, enterprise support, or event production.\n\nExperience leading global or distributed teams, including employees, contractors, and vendor partners.\n\nStrong people-leadership skills, with a track record of developing talent, building team capability, and improving team performance.\n\nProven ability to support executive stakeholders and deliver high-pressure, high-visibility events.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of AV systems, workplace technologies, UC platforms, SaaS tools, and support operations.\n\nStrong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.\n\nAbility to make sound decisions in complex, fast-moving environments with limited oversight.\n\nBachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Networking, Audiovisual, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nTechnical Expertise\nExperience with AV-over-IP, UC platforms, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, QSC, Dante, Crestron, Shure, Ross Ultrix, audio consoles, and related production systems.\n\nWorking knowledge of networking concepts that impact AV performance, including Wi-Fi, DNS, QoS, VLANs, and enterprise connectivity.\n\nUnderstanding of security, collaboration platform governance, service accounts, shared storage, and event services best practices.\n\nAbility to document standards and train support teams on consistent AV and event support practices.\n\nPreferred Experience\nDante, CTS, Jamf, Q-SYS, or related certifications.\n\nExperience standardizing event formats such as all-hands, town halls, fireside chats, and executive meetings.\n\nStrong understanding of audio and video signal flow, production workflows, and IT networking principles.\n\nExperience building alignment with senior decision-makers and acting as a proactive thought partner.\n\nAbility to lead complex initiatives and solve ambiguous problems with creativity, ownership, and minimal oversight.\n\n#P7398_3609511\nBelow is the annual base salary range for candidates located in San Francisco Bay Area. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
