We’re building a world where Identity belongs to you.\nWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer that will join the Auth0 Security Engineering organization. In this role, you will join a team of Software Engineers dedicated to building and managing services that secure the platform that Auth0 runs on. You will be instrumental in expanding our platform security controls and architecting custom workflows in a scalable, reliable manner. \nWhat You Will Do\nService Development: Build, maintain, and operate platform security services and controls using Python, Node.js, or Golang.\nSecurity Automation: Build and contribute to our security automation initiatives for custom tooling.\nContainer Security: Provide technical support and engineering solutions for securing Kubernetes (K8s) and containerized workloads, including runtime security, network policies, and admission controllers.\nEngineering Quality: Write clean, testable, and well-documented code while driving technical designs and participating in code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.\nVulnerability Management: Support remediation plan for vulnerabilities in partnership with Auth0 engineering teams, including development and commit of patches to remediate issues. .\nWhat You Bring\nSoftware Development Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining production-grade software services.\nCore Language Proficiency: Hands-on mastery of Python, Node.js, or Golang.\nExpertise in using GitHub, and CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) from an architectural and engineering perspective.\nExpert-level proficiency in Software Composition Analysis (SCA) and hands-on experience in the practical remediation of third-party and open-source dependency vulnerabilities at scale.\nCloud & Containers: Solid experience with cloud-native environments (AWS or Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).\nSecurity Mindset: Practical experience building platform security controls, managing service permissions, and applying secure coding practices.\nNice to Have\nExperience with high-throughput streaming platforms or log processing tools (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub, Vector).\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and Policy-as-Code tools.\nFamiliarity with compliance standards (FedRAMP, SOC2) and security frameworks in multi-cloud environments.\nExperience or interest in applying AI/ML tools to automate security workflows and analysis.\nP19401_3572843\nBelow is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada.
