Organisations must now secure not only employees and customers, but also non-human identities, including service accounts, automation tools, and AI agents.\nOkta is at the forefront of this transformation, helping enterprises strengthen their security posture, embrace Zero Trust, and securely adopt emerging technologies.\nThe Opportunity - Senior Solutions Engineer\nWe are looking for an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Enterprise Solutions Engineering team.\nAs a trusted technical advisor to some of the region's leading organisations, you will help customers solve complex identity and cybersecurity challenges through Okta's technology.\nPartnering closely with our Enterprise Sales team, you will shape technical strategies, influence technology decisions, and demonstrate how Okta enables organisations to securely accelerate digital transformation and AI adoption.\nThis is an opportunity to combine your technical expertise, business acumen, and consultative skills to deliver meaningful customer outcomes.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nTechnical Leadership & Customer Engagement\nPartner with Enterprise Account Executives to develop strategic account plans and identify opportunities to deliver value through Okta's Identity Security Platform.\n\nAct as a trusted technical advisor, understanding customers' business challenges, security priorities, and technical requirements.\n\nEngage stakeholders at all levels, including CISOs, CIOs, security architects, developers, and IT leaders.\n\nTranslate complex technical concepts into compelling business outcomes through presentations, demonstrations, and architecture discussions.\n\nBuild strong technical relationships with customers, technology partners, and delivery partners.\n\nSolution Design & Technical Sales Execution\nLead technical discovery, solution design, and validation throughout the enterprise sales cycle.\n\nDeliver tailored demonstrations, technical workshops, and outcome-focused Proofs of Concept (POCs).\n\nArchitect identity and security solutions integrating with customers' cloud platforms, applications, and security ecosystems.\n\nAdvise customers on modern identity strategies, including authentication, access management, identity governance, and Zero Trust.\n\nAddress technical objections, resolve integration challenges, and collaborate with internal teams to progress complex opportunities.\n\nAdvocate for customers by sharing technical feedback with Product Management and Engineering.\n\nInnovation & Thought Leadership\nAdvise customers on emerging security challenges, including non-human identities, AI agents, and hybrid and multi-cloud environments.\n\nStay current with cybersecurity, cloud technologies, identity standards, and AI security developments.\n\nRepresent Okta at customer workshops, industry conferences, and partner events.\n\nCollaborate with regional and global Solutions Engineering teams to share knowledge and best practices.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Presales, Solutions Architecture, or customer-facing technical consulting.\n\nExperience supporting enterprise customers, ideally within SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise technology.\n\nStrong technical aptitude with the ability to design solutions and articulate value to technical and business audiences.\n\nExcellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.\n\nExperience delivering technical demonstrations, solution workshops, and POCs.\n\nStrong consultative and problem-solving capabilities, aligning technical solutions with business objectives.\n\nAbility to collaborate with sales teams, partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to progress enterprise opportunities.\n\nIntellectual curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for cybersecurity and emerging technologies.\n\nNice to Have (Not Mandatory)\nExperience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), or Identity Governance.\n\nFamiliarity with identity protocols, including SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SCIM, and LDAP.\n\nUnderstanding of Zero Trust architecture, cloud security, and enterprise application environments.\n\nExperience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.\n\nFamiliarity with APIs, application integrations, or programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#.\n\nExposure to AI security, non-human identities, or securing AI-powered applications.\n\nSoftware development, architecture, or implementation consulting experience.\n\nDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nThe Okta Experience\nSupporting Your Well-Being \nDriving Social Impact \nDeveloping Talent and Fostering Connection + Community\nWe are intentional about connection.
