We are a privately-owned company, where the warmth of family meets the scale of a global organisation.\nTo strengthen our global engineering capabilities, we are looking for a Group Lead Process Engineer to set the technical direction for process equipment across Octapharma - driving standardisation, guiding major investments, and connecting engineering expertise across our sites.\nThe position will be filled in Vienna (Austria), Springe (Germany), Stockholm (Sweden) or Lingolsheim (France).\nJoin us in shaping our vision of providing new health solutions advancing human life.\nYour main tasks and responsibilities\nAct as the internal process expert, providing guidance to production sites\nContribute to the process engineering strategy, translating it into goals for local engineering teams\nDefine process engineering requirements for consistent implementation across sites\nAssess new technologies and methodologies for their potential to improve processes\nStrengthen collaboration across sites through the exchange of expertise and best practices\nProvide process engineering guidance aline with applicable safety and quality requirements\nOversee the budget for the area of responsibility, focusing on cost-effective investment decision\nYour expertise and ideal skill set\nMaster degree in engineering or equivalent\n10+ years of engineering experience within the pharmaceutical industry\nDeep expertise in process equipment and the implementation of new processes and technologies\nStrong knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements and risk management\nExperience in managing complex engineering projects \nAbility to translate business needs into clear engineering priorities\nStrong communication skills in a multinational enviroment\nWillingness to travel internationally (around 30%)\nYou will thrive in this role if you enjoy setting direction, challenging established approaches and turning technical expertise into scalable solutions for the Octapharma Group.\nYour department - where you make an impact\nThe Group Technical Organization consists of Group Engineering, Automation, and Maintenance.
