You will provide technical direction, drive engineering standards and best practices, and support major investment decisions to ensure efficient, aligned and compliant engineering solutions across the Group.\nThe position will be filled in Vienna (Austria), Springe (Germany), Stockholm (Sweden) or Lingolsheim (France).\nJoin us in shaping our vision of providing new health solutions advancing human life.\nYour main tasks and responsibilities\nShape and lead the engineering strategy for Greenfield developments, translating business requirements into engineering priorities\nReview and challenge major investment plans, with a focus on Greenfield developments and business continuity risks\nDefine engineering standards and requirements for development projects\nAct as a technical advisor across the organization within the area of expertise\nEvaluate new technologies, methodologies and engineering approaches for potential improvements\nProvide technical direction to teams involved in Greenfield developments and mentor junior engineers\nDrive technical standardization across production lines to enable cross-site learning and training\nEnsure compliance with applicable safety and quality requirements\nOversee the budget within the area of responsibility, ensuring cost-effectiveness\nYour expertise and ideal skill set\nMaster’s degree in engineering or equivalent\n15+ years of broad engineering experience within the pharmaceutical industry\nRecognized technical expertise in complex engineering solutions and new technologies\nStrong knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements and risk management\nProven ability to shape engineering strategies and define technical standards\nStrong business judgement with the ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders\nAbility to drive technical alignment and best practices across sites \nWillingness to travel internationally (around 30%)\nYou will thrive in this role if you are driven to shape engineering direction, turn expertise into standards, and make a lasting impact across our sites.\nYour department - where you make an impact\nThe Group Technical Organization consists of Group Engineering, Automation, and Maintenance.
