You will contribute across three connected capability areas: Foundations, including token architecture for color, spacing, and radius; Components, spanning OKDS core components, business components, and AI-ready architecture; and Templates + AI Tooling, covering template systems, AI transformation infrastructure, and pipeline readiness. Your primary assignment may change based on team needs, while you build the breadth to work effectively across all three. You will combine strong craft with design-engineering judgment to improve reuse, adoption, delivery speed, and implementation quality.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nOwn scoped initiatives across Foundations, Components, or Templates + AI Tooling-from research and reuse validation through specification, release, adoption, and iteration-while contributing effectively across all three areas as priorities change.\n\nDevelop and maintain foundation standards and token architecture for color, spacing, radius, themes, modes, and platform variation, ensuring consistency between Figma and implementation.\n\nDesign and evolve OKDS core components and reusable business components with clear naming, variants, states, metadata, composition rules, and architecture suitable for designers, engineers, and AI-assisted workflows.\n\nBuild reusable template systems and AI-readable guidance, and contribute to tooling infrastructure and validation workflows that improve AI pipeline readiness and production-quality output.\n\nPartner closely with engineers to ensure design intent, platform behavior, component APIs, and accessibility requirements remain aligned across Web, iOS, and Android.\n\nPrototype and improve AI-assisted workflows for template generation, component discovery, variant generation, specification, and quality review-while applying critical human judgment to the output.\n\nDrive adoption with product teams through consultation, enablement, migration support, and feedback loops; treat designers and engineers as users of the platform.\n\nApply quality acceptance criteria covering interaction states, responsive behavior, accessibility, compliance, and implementation-ready handoff.\n\nPlan and deliver work transparently, manage dependencies, and track outcomes such as reuse, adoption, reduced rework, and faster implementation.\n\nWhat We Look For In You\nDemonstrated experience delivering reusable design-system components, patterns, or foundations in a complex digital-product environment.\n\nStrong Figma capability, including component properties, variables, modes, libraries, and scalable file organization.\n\nWorking knowledge across design-system foundations, component architecture, and template systems, including tokens, theming, documentation, versioning, reusable business patterns, and contribution workflows.\n\nStrong craft under ambiguity: able to explore, prototype, test, and refine detailed interaction and visual behavior.\n\nDesign-engineering fluency and comfort discussing implementation constraints, states, APIs, and platform differences.\n\nAn adoption mindset: you investigate user needs, make standards practical, and follow through until teams can use them successfully.\n\nPractical capability with AI-assisted design and development workflows, plus the judgment to assess tooling, strengthen pipeline readiness, and review generated output for correctness, consistency, and production readiness.\n\nClear written and verbal communication, constructive collaboration, and the ability to explain system decisions to designers, engineers, and product partners.\n\nReliable operational ownership: able to scope work, communicate progress and risks, manage dependencies, and deliver with quality.\n\nProduct and business awareness, including the ability to connect design-system choices to speed, quality, risk, and reuse.\n\nWorking knowledge of accessibility, compliance, responsive behavior, and complete global-state design.\n\nNice to Haves\nExperience designing for Fintech, Investment platforms, or Crypto products\n\nExperience working with teams across offices and timezones\n\nUnderstanding of React framework for Front End development\n\nPerks & Benefits\nCompetitive total compensation package\n\nL&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development\n\nVarious team building programs and company events\n\nWellness and meal allowances \n\nComprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants \n\nMore that we love to tell you along the process!\n\nNotice:\nAll official OKXvacancies are published on this website.While roles may appear on selected third-party platforms from time to time, information on other sites may be inaccurate or outdated.
