These should also be accurately invoiced to the respective customers together with a customer statement.\nTo ensure that expenses are correctly, accurately, and timely booked in the System with the appropriate support documentation.\nTo maintain an accurate record of Accounts payables clearly showing balances per vendor at any one time.\nTo ensure that taxes are correctly and accurately captured on every transaction and subsequently remitted to URA every month by the 13th day.\nTo ensure that all payments are settled timely and vendor accounts reconciled regularly to ensure completeness and accuracy.\nTo ensure that commission schedules are prepared on time for review and have commission payments done by the 25th of every month.\nEnsuring that the accounts payable and receivable are properly and regularly updated. That is to say, timely invoicing of clients both on a monthly basis and Quarterly basis.\nTo manage any matter arising from payments with clients in a friendly and efficient manner for satisfactory customer service.\nTo ensure that all payments are settled timely and vendor accounts reconciled regularly to ensure completeness and accuracy.\nPerform reconciliation for the unallocated balances of the Unit trust providing a proper analysis of the ageing.\nPerform Unit trust reconciliations on a monthly basis and submit them for review and approval by the CFO.\nMaking payments to suppliers on a timely basis.\nTimely reconciliation of all bank accounts.\nPreparing and submitting management accounts for the funds on a monthly basis for review by the 13th of every month.\nPerforming petty cash vouching every month and preparing the Petty cash certificates.\nKey competencies\n Good communication skills\nTeam player\nGood analytical skills\nGood accounting skills\nGood communication skills\nMulti-tasking skills\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE\nA University degree in: Business Administration (Accounting and Finance options), Commerce, Statistics, Science In Accounting, Accounting & Finance.\nANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING (AML) EXPECTATION\nThe incumbent will be responsible for ensuring adherence to, implementation of, and adoption of Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Sanctions-related policies, procedures, and process requirements within Old Mutual and its subsidiaries. This includes execution of customer due diligence processes, ensuring compliance with Know-Your-Customer (KYC) standards, conducting ongoing and enhanced due diligence, and maintaining data quality.
