Job Description
The role is responsible for executing the brand strategy through compelling communication in related marketing plans, in support of building and growing the OML brand. The role collaborates and delivers in partnership with Business Clusters. This role is accountable for market penetration, customer growth and required brand health standards.
Key Result Areas
Operational Delivery
Implement brand strategy and enterprise-wide initiatives that support the overall OML brand strategy and associated plans in partnership with Business Clusters.
Implement and maintain the OML Group Go-to-Market plan. (Annual Calendar)
Execute relevant communication in the Always On content plan, to bring to life the brand positioning.
Execute relevant communication as part of a corporate response communication plan.
Execute the OML Brand architecture and usage protocols aligned to determined standards.
Manage different marketing and communication channels to deliver product agnostic and enterprise-wide marketing, public affairs and sustainability campaigns/initiatives for a portfolio of business units.
Analyse marketing insights to identify opportunities to optimise brand communication and improve brand equity.
Review performance metrics and methods to refine and optimise marketing and digital activities and campaigns.
Group role
Implement and ensure that standards set in the Brand Framework (principles and protocols for Brand and Trademark policy, IMC connection management, advertising, sponsorship and events) are adhered to across the OML business.
Manage the delivery and performance of external suppliers, agencies and vendors in line with the agreed framework and process.
Positively influence and manage change by providing mechanisms and support to implement New Ways of Work, including digital transformation and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Finance and Governance
Responsible for Finance and Risk management, including the management and clearing of audit findings.
Contributes to functional resource planning and integration.
Manages the functions KPIs and implements corrective action.
Drives and manages accountabilities for certain legislative requirements specifically impacting the way we engage with our customers e.g. TCF and PPI.
Manage GMPAS TTL Budgets & ROI
Qualifications, Skills and Required Experience:
Minimum Educational Requirements
Relevant Bachelor's Degree
Advantageous
Honours Degree or Postgraduate Qualification in Marketing, Communications, Brand Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Professional certification in Brand Management, Strategic Communication, Marketing Leadership, Digital Marketing, Reputation Management or related fields.
Experience
5+ years' experience in Brand Management, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
Extensive experience developing and executing integrated brand and communication strategies.
Demonstrated experience managing large-scale enterprise communication initiatives and marketing programmes.
Significant experience engaging and influencing senior executives and business leaders.
Proven experience managing teams and building high-performance cultures.
Experience managing agencies, suppliers and external partners.
Strong understanding of reputation management, stakeholder engagement, customer communication and integrated marketing principles.
Experience within Financial Services or a highly regulated environment will be advantageous.
Demonstrated experience managing budgets, governance requirements and strategic marketing investments.
MBA or Executive Leadership qualification advantageous.

Skilled in developing and implementing brand strategy and guidelines. Skilled in managing and aligning all elements of the brand(s) strategy. Advanced skills in interpreting metrics to measure brand effectiveness and inform future brand activities. Recommends optimal brand positioning.
Business Finance
Skilled in budget planning and management, including the analysis of costs and financial performance measures. Contributes to the identification of profitable and value adding business opportunities. Sound knowledge of financial and related commercial concepts (For example Profit & Loss, Return on Investment, Business value drivers) as it applies within a business function.
Business & Market knowledge
Knows the business landscape (Business value chain and key operational areas). Knows the business product/service offering to its customers. Knows broadly the type of market within which the business operates, including the key competitors.
Digital Marketing
Advanced skills in the use of digital channels to deliver of marketing content. Demonstrates in-depth skills in choosing suitable digital channels to match the marketing intent. Skilled in aligning the use of digital channels to the needs of the different customer segments. Guides on ethics and rules around brand, privacy etc when using digital channels.
Marketing insights
Limited interpretation of information from internal and external data sources on the market and customers to inform marketing plans and decisions. Knows the types of data and metrics used in marketing management decision making. Knows how to interpret market research information to derive insights.
Marketing Value Chain
Skilled in implementing marketing strategies and plans to reach the target markets. Knows how to use the marketing mix (Product, price, place, and promotion) to promote the unique value of a brand. Demonstrates insights about consumer and organisational buying behaviour. Skilled in effectively using segmentation, targeting, and positioning in marketing. Sound skills in developing clear marketing briefs. Skilled in measuring the effectiveness of marketing.
Project Coordination and Delivery
Intermediate skills in coordinating a project according to the required project methodology. Knows how the costs and risks are managed on the project.
Stakeholder Management
Skilled in identifying stakeholder and mapping expectations and possible impact. Skilled in stakeholder expectation management. Skilled in engaging and communicating with stakeholders.
Reputation Management
Knows the impact of the corporate reputation on the business and the key reputation drivers that should be managed. Knows how a corporate reputation is assessed. Considers the impact of own work outputs on the corporate reputation.
Supplier Management
Skilled in implementing the business supplier management policy and process. Defines the performance standards to measure supplier outputs. Skilled in aligning supplier outputs to business needs. Skilled in working with supplier contractual agreements.
