Tighten bolts and screws and reassemble equipment and vehicle's repaired, ensuring they are safe and in good working condition.\nDrive vehicle to test brakes or align wheels.\nPerform tune-ups, oil changes, and other routine preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment, replacing common parts and making adjustments.\nLookup and understand the manufacturer's specifications, technical bulletins, service or repair manuals. Follow vehicle repair procedures.\nReport discrepancies and safety hazards on all vehicles and properties on the appropriate forms.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nAbility to work independently over long periods of time and in groups within the scope of established rules and regulations.\nAbility to apply knowledge in multiple areas of vehicle repair.\nAbility to drive a trolley or conch train in a safe, competent manner on busy public streets and company property.\nAbility to determine the type of tool and equipment needed to do the job.\nAbility to watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.\nQualifications\nHigh school graduate or equivalent preferred\nCompletion of an automotive training program\nVocational of technical school preferred\nASE Certifications preferred: Auto Brakes and Preventative Maintenance Inspection\nValid FL Class C or higher CDL with passenger endorsement (Will train to acquire a CDL. Must obtain a CDL in a first month of employment)\nAcceptable driving record for the past three years\nOther Requirements\nMust pass pre-employment background check and substance abuse testing\nValid DOT physical required\nMust supply own hand tools and toolboxes.
