You can see some of our favorite projects here.\nStart your journey with OBE and help us build the future.\nWhat You Get To Do\nThe Production Lead oversees daily production activities, ensuring that manufacturing processes run efficiently, safely, and meet quality standards. This role acts as a bridge between management and production staff, coordinating workflow, monitoring performance, and resolving issues to maintain productivity and deadlines.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCounsel, mentor, coach, and develop employees.\nCoordinate production workflow throughout the department and move resources as needed.\nAbility to communicate to opposite shifts to ensure proper shift handoffs.\nEnsure all crew members are prepared and ready for duty including having their proper PPE.\nAbility to enforce all company guidelines, standards, and policies including Safety & Quality.\nAbility to make quick business decisions such as adjusting/moving personnel, as needed to meet product requirements\nPerform daily quality checks\nCross trained to safely operate all equipment and cover all positions as needed.\nTrain department employees to safely and accurately perform tasks to predetermined standards.\nNotify management of equipment malfunctions and other potential safety issues.\nMaintain accurate production records, report issues, and suggest improvements.\nAssist in onboarding and training new team members on processes and safety.\nAddress production delays, equipment malfunctions, and staffing challenges promptly.\nPhysical Requirements:\nStand and walk for entire shift on concrete, up to 12 hours\nTwist, bend, stoop and kneel\nLift, push, pull and move up to 75lbs individually or 150lbs with a partner\nGrasp, squeeze, hold/handle thin to thick metal, small & large items\nRequires reaching, handling and grasping while turning of upper body while moving and lifting\nVisual acuity to inspect product for various quality flaws and to ensure equipment is in safe working condition\nProper wear of all required Personal Protective Equipment\nWork in temperatures consistent with outdoor climate conditions and hot machinery (Heat, humidity, etc.)\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred).\n3+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environment.\nStrong leadership and communication skills.\nKnowledge of production processes, safety regulations, and quality control.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.\nSkills:\nLeadership and team management\nTime management and organizational skills\nProblem-solving and decision-making\nTechnical understanding of machinery and production systems\nFamiliarity with ERP or production tracking software\nWhat OBE Offers You\nBenefits that benefit you -
