You can see some of our favorite projects here.\nStart your journey with OBE and help us build the future.\nWhat You’ll Get to Do\nThe Material Handler 2 - Stockroom is focused on accurately pulling and organizing parts, accurately counting and logging parts, maintaining accurate records of inventory is crucial. Help prepare orders for shipment, and safely moving materials throughout the facility. Supports production by staging and delivering materials, maintaining an organized work area, and following all quality, safety, and production requirements. The Material Handler 2 reports to the Custom Door Fabrication Supervisor.\nThis role is perfect for an individual who is safety-minded, detail-focused, a team player, and enjoys working in a manufacturing environment. A vital member of the Door Fabrication Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.\nJob Highlights\nFull Time - 1st shift - 10 hours (5:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday)\nOvertime Opportunities\nAdvancement Opportunities\nJob responsibilities include:\nReceives, stores, tracks and distributes materials and parts\nStrong attention to detail is very important.\nMaterial handling - moving packed metal product\nPull and pack parts to other departments, company locations or customers\nPack aluminum extrusions using a box knife, cardboard and tape\nPrepare boxes for shipment to customers. Verify all orders before they are shipped (shipping address, parts, and correct quantity)\nEnsures quality in the process including correct documentation and verification of orders \nFollow directions and communicate well with peers and management\nMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work area\nWork with others in a team environment\nAbility to wear all safety wear including hard hats, steel toe boots with metatarsals, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, Kevlar sleeves and long pants.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nAbility to work independently and prioritize work with deadlines;
