This role transforms data into actionable insights, helping leaders understand business performance, customer profitability, sales effectiveness, pricing impacts, and key business risks.\nWorking closely with Sales, Pricing, Operations, Product Management, and Executive Leadership, the Senior Analyst supports forecasting, annual planning, business reviews, and strategic initiatives while influencing key business decisions through data-driven recommendations.\nKey Responsibilities\nForecasting & Planning\nLead monthly forecasts for revenue, gross profit, and key business drivers.\nSupport annual operating plans, strategic planning, and long-range forecasts.\nBuild financial models to evaluate growth opportunities, risks, and market changes.\nMonitor performance against plan and communicate risks and opportunities.\nCommercial Analysis\nAnalyze sales, margin, customer, and product performance.\nIdentify trends impacting revenue, profitability, market share, and customer retention.\nEvaluate performance across regions, customer segments, products, and sales teams.\nProvide actionable insights to improve commercial performance and profitability.\nReporting & Decision Support\nPrepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages for leadership.\nSupport business reviews with clear variance analysis and performance narratives.\nDevelop presentations and analyses that support strategic, pricing, operational, and investment decisions.\nConduct scenario modeling, profitability analysis, and business case development.\nData & Business Partnership\nDevelop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools using Excel, Power BI, and enterprise systems.\nImprove reporting automation and data accessibility.\nPartner with Sales, Pricing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance leaders to support performance management and strategic initiatives.\nAct as a trusted advisor by delivering objective, data-driven recommendations.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Analytics, or related field.\n4-7 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, business analytics, consulting, or related areas.\nStrong financial modeling and analytical skills.\nAdvanced Excel proficiency.\nExperience analyzing large datasets and communicating insights to business leaders.\nPreferred\nExperience supporting commercial, sales, or pricing organizations.\nProficiency with Power BI and ERP systems (SAP preferred).\nExperience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or building products industries.\nKnowledge of forecasting, pricing analytics, and profitability analysis.\nSuccess Measures\nForecast accuracy and planning effectiveness.\nTimely, high-quality reporting and executive insights.\nIdentification of profit improvement opportunities.\nIncreased automation and reporting efficiency.\nStrategic impact on commercial and financial performance.\nWhat OBE Offers You\nBenefits that benefit you -
