You can see some of our favorite projects here.\nStart your journey with OBE and help us build the future.\nPosition Summary\nThe Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for maintaining the corporate general ledger, overseeing the fixed asset subledger across all operating locations, and ensuring the accuracy of banking, intercompany, and financial reporting activities. This role plays a key part in the month-end close process, financial consolidations, compliance efforts, and capital asset management while supporting the organization's overall financial integrity and reporting requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nGeneral Accounting & Financial Reporting\nPrepare journal entries and manage month-end close activities for corporate accounting functions.\nPrepare and maintain account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.\nAssist with month-end consolidation processes and financial reporting activities.\nEnsure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).\nBanking & Cash Management\nReview and reconcile daily banking activity.\nInitiate wire transfers and ACH funding transactions.\nMaintain authorized bank account signatories and related documentation.\nReview bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed.\nIntercompany Accounting\nReview, reconcile, and resolve intercompany transactions between corporate and operating entities.\nEnsure timely and accurate recording of intercompany activity.\nFixed Assets & Capital Projects\nMaintain the fixed asset subledger for all operating locations.\nPrepare and monitor depreciation schedules.\nTrack and manage Construction in Progress (CIP) projects, ensuring accurate capitalization and reporting.\nMonitor fixed asset additions, transfers, and disposals.\nPrepare monthly capital expenditure and capital spending reports.\nCompliance & Controls\nSupport and maintain SOX compliance through the execution of required reviews and internal control procedures.\nAssist with audits and provide requested documentation as needed.\nPartner with the Tax team to maintain accurate property tax reporting.\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.\nExperience\n2 to 3 years of progressive accounting experience.\nExperience working with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.\nExperience with fixed asset accounting is preferred.\nSAP experience is strongly preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nStrong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and positive attitude.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.\nPosition Pay Range\n$81,000—$122,000 USD\nWhat OBE Offers You\nBenefits that benefit you -
