We are devoted to nurturing a vibrant, inclusive community where every member - student, faculty, and staff - can achieve their fullest potential.\nJoin the Ole Miss Family - Build Your Legacy Here!\nJob Summary:\nSupports the execution of onsite and leased properties, assists with the preparation of facilities plans and construction bid documents; assists in the coordination of project implementation within the project teamJob Description:\nAssists in the coordination of project planning, designing, and procurement processes; assists and/or oversees in the preparation of project plans; construction bid documents, and specifications.\nServes as a project/planning liaison between client groups, architects, and various institutional service units.\nAssists in the preparation of contract drafts, requests for proposal, project approvals, and other related documents for review.\nExamples of Work Performed\nCoordinates design and construction projects. \nUtilizes appropriate software to prepare technical reports. \nServes as project coordinator; observes processes and collects data to ensure compliance with standards as set forth by the University of Mississippi.\nReviews construction work in the field to ensure that established quality control standards are met.\nTracks workflow and coordinates with the project team regarding scheduled deadlines.\nReviews and evaluates the merit of change orders for all projects and discusses with the Director of Facilities Planning.\nEvaluates Applications for Payment to determine whether they accurately reflect work performed.\nPerforms similar or related duties as assigned or required.\nEssential Functions\nThese essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following.
