Our business model is built around commerce, transactions, and services that deliver value to our community.\nWe’re an ambitious, international startup with a growing team of engineers, designers, and product specialists building a platform with the potential to fundamentally change the football fan experience.\nWe’re looking for exceptional people who are entrepreneurial, highly collaborative, comfortable with ambiguity, and motivated by the opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up.\nOleOle - Where Fans Kick Off\n Senior UX/UI Product Designer\nWe are looking for an exceptional Senior UX/UI Product Designer with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience, a strong visual design foundation, and extensive experience designing consumer-facing mobile applications at scale.\nMobile product design is our highest priority. We want designers who have created outstanding experiences for native iOS and Android applications-not simply responsive websites or desktop applications adapted to smaller screens.\nThis is not a role for junior designers or candidates who require heavy direction and micromanagement.\nWe are looking for experienced, independent designers who:\nThink in systems, not just individual screens.\nHave exceptional visual taste, typography, composition, and interaction design skills.\nUnderstand consumer engagement, retention, discovery, and user behavior.\nCan own major product areas from concept through implementation.\nCan evaluate existing designs, identify weaknesses, and raise the visual quality of an entire product.\nMove quickly, communicate clearly, and thrive in entrepreneurial startup environments.\nYou will work directly with company leadership, our existing UX/UI designers, and engineering teams to shape the core experiences of OleOle, including:\nMicroblogging and personalized social feeds.\nMessaging, group chats, and mobile voice and video calls.\nTikTok-style short-form video, discovery, and creation.\nLive football scores and match experiences.\nFootball history, statistics, and discovery.\nMobile onboarding, club and country identity, and fan engagement.\nWhat You Will Do\nLead UX/UI design for major product experiences across native iOS, Android, web, and tablets, with a strong emphasis on mobile.\nCreate exceptional mobile interfaces with intuitive navigation, polished interactions, strong typography, thoughtful animation, and visual consistency.\nDesign sophisticated consumer experiences that bring multiple capabilities together without overwhelming users.\nDevelop user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and production-ready high-fidelity designs.\nHelp establish and evolve a unified design system across OleOle’s interconnected products.\nReview existing designs, identify opportunities for improvement, and help elevate the work of other designers.\nCollaborate directly with frontend engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and perform well across devices.\nThink deeply about consumer psychology, engagement, usability, retention, and interaction patterns.\nContribute to product direction, not simply execute assigned design tasks.\nHelp establish long-term design quality standards and a culture of exceptional product craftsmanship.\n What We’re Looking For\nRequired qualifications\nMinimum 7 years of professional UX/UI or product design experience.\nSubstantial hands-on experience designing consumer-facing native iOS and Android applications.\nA portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design quality in shipped mobile products.\nStrong foundations in graphic design, typography, layout, composition, color, and visual hierarchy.\nDeep understanding of mobile navigation, gestures, interaction patterns, transitions, and platform conventions.\nExperience designing complex consumer products with multiple interconnected features.\nStrong experience developing and maintaining scalable design systems.\nAdvanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, and interactive prototyping.\nUnderstanding of user psychology, engagement, retention, and product usability.\nExperience collaborating directly with frontend engineers and product teams.\nAbility to work independently, take ownership, and make sound design decisions without constant supervision.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and design critique skills.\nHighly relevant product experience\nWe are particularly interested in designers who have worked on:\nSocial networking and community applications.\nMessaging and communication platforms.\nShort-form video and creator applications.\nSports, gaming, and entertainment platforms.\nConsumer marketplaces and high-engagement commerce applications.\nMobile applications serving millions of users.\nWe value exceptional consumer product design experience even if you have never worked in football.\nDesign Leadership and Ownership\nWhile this is a hands-on senior design position, we are looking for someone capable of helping strengthen the overall design organization.\nYou should be comfortable:\nTaking ownership of complex product experiences.\nCritiquing and improving existing UX/UI designs.\nMentoring and collaborating with other designers.\nEstablishing consistent visual and interaction standards.\nWorking directly with leadership to translate product vision into exceptional user experiences.\nWe are not looking for someone who only creates wireframes, conducts research, or maintains Figma libraries. We need designers who can produce beautiful, intuitive, production-ready consumer products.\nHuge Plus\nPassion for football and global sports culture.\nExperience designing social feeds, messaging, or short-form video applications.\nStrong motion design and micro-interaction capabilities.\nExperience designing products from zero to one.\nExperience improving existing consumer products through major redesigns.\nExperience with multilingual, international consumer applications.\nExperience working in fast-moving, early-stage startups.\nPortfolio Requirements\nA portfolio demonstrating outstanding mobile product design is required.\nWe want to see actual iOS and Android product experiences, including:\nHigh-fidelity mobile screens demonstrating strong visual design.\nNavigation systems, user flows, and interaction patterns.\nExamples of complex consumer experiences made intuitive and visually compelling.\nClear explanations of your personal design ownership and contributions.\nGeneric enterprise dashboards, templated SaaS designs, wireframe-only portfolios, or portfolios without substantial mobile work will not be considered a strong fit.\nWhat You Need to Know About Compensation\nOleOle is currently a pre-funding startup. This position operates under a deferred-compensation structure until financing is secured.\nCompensation accrues during the pre-funding period and becomes payable following a successful funding event, subject to the terms of the agreement.\nOur compensation structure includes:\nDeferred compensation: Accrued during the pre-funding period, with payment contingent on successful funding and the agreement terms.\nPost-funding salary: Transition to a competitive, market-based salary following funding.\nEquity ownership: An opportunity to participate in OleOle’s long-term growth through company equity.\nOleX tokens: Additional token-based ownership participation in the OleOle ecosystem.\nOur entire team, including company leadership, engineers, designers, and product specialists, is currently operating under the same deferred-compensation model.\nWe believe in being completely transparent: startup fundraising involves risk, financing is not guaranteed, and deferred compensation may never become payable if funding is not secured.\nWe’re looking for entrepreneurial designers who understand that risk and are excited by the opportunity to help build a global consumer technology platform from the ground up.\nThis is an opportunity to join OleOle at an early stage, take meaningful ownership of major product experiences, and contribute to the creation of a platform designed to connect football fans around the world.\n Compensation is deferred until we close funding.
