Please visit us at www.oled.com.\nJOB SUMMARY:\nThe Applications & Mechatronics Engineer is responsible for the integration, validation, deployment, and continuous improvement of UVJC's advanced Vapor Jet Printing (UVJP) platforms and next-generation products. The role combines mechanical, electrical, software validation, and system integration activities to support equipment development, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer deployment. Working closely with engineering teams and customers, the engineer ensures reliable equipment performance while contributing to product enhancement and technology commercialization throughout the product lifecycle\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDesign, integrate, and troubleshoot mechatronic systems (mechanical, electrical, and control).\n\nPerform equipment assembly, system setup, testing, calibration, and commissioning of equipment.\n\nSupport software testing, validation, and debugging activities in collaboration with software engineers.\n\nConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for system-level issues.\n\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, work instructions, engineering reports; provide technical analysis and recommendations for process and system improvements.\n\nWork with cross-functional teams to identify product improvements and enhance equipment reliability, performance, and usability.\n\nProvide remote and on-site technical support, including regional and international travel as required.\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related engineering discipline.\n\nSeveral years of hands-on engineering experience (equipment/system integration preferred).\n\nSound understanding of mechatronic systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control integration.\n\nExperience in software testing, validation, or debugging.\n\nProficient in spoken and written English (working language).\n\nWillingness and ability to travel regionally and internationally as required.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience with thin-film deposition, printing, semiconductor, or precision equipment.\n\nFamiliarity with automation, motion control, or PLC systems .\n\nExperience handling vacuum-related equipment (e.g., vacuum pumps, chambers, gauges) is a plus.\n\nBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:\nProblem Solving\nSystematically identifies root causes, evaluates alternatives, and implements effective engineering solutions to technical challenges.\nCollaboration\nWorks effectively with cross-functional teams, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve shared technical and business objectives.
