Please visit us at www.oled.com.\nJOB SUMMARY:\nThe Engineering & Process Technician is responsible for the assembly, testing, operation, and maintenance of UVJC's advanced Vapor Jet Printing (UVJP) platforms and next-generation products. The role combines equipment assembly, hardware testing, process operations, and technical support activities to ensure reliable equipment performance and efficient process execution.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerform mechanical and electrical assembly of equipment and sub-assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.\n\nConduct hardware testing, inspection, and functional verification activities to ensure product quality, performance, and reliability.\n\nSupport process operations, setup, and routine maintenance of equipment.\n\nSafely operate and maintain vacuum-related equipment, including vacuum pumps, chambers, gauges, and associated systems.\n\nAssist engineers in troubleshooting, calibration, and commissioning of systems.\n\nMaintain accurate test, assembly, and inspection records, and ensure the timely completion of technical and process documentation.\n\nAdhere to safety, quality, cleanroom, and 5S requirements while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.\n\nFollow safety, cleanliness (cleanroom), and 5S standards in the work area.\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nDiploma, Higher NITEC, NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline\n\nHands-on experience in equipment assembly, testing, maintenance, or technical support within an engineering, manufacturing, laboratory, or production environment.\n\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.\n\nStrong hands-on skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.\n\nCollaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to work in a hands-on engineering, laboratory, and production environment.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience handling vacuum-related equipment (e.g., vacuum pumps, chambers, gauges) is a strong plus.\n\nExperience with thin-film deposition, printing, semiconductor, or precision equipment.\n\nFamiliarity with automation, motion control, or PLC systems.\n\nExperience working in cleanroom or controlled-environment settings.\n\nBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:\nProblem Solving\nSystematically identifies root causes, evaluates alternatives, and implements effective engineering solutions to technical challenges.\nCollaboration\nWorks effectively with cross-functional teams, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve shared technical and business objectives.
