Examinations may be visual or require measuring devices and techniques. \nAssists Project Lead in creation and implementation of Quality Control Plan\nConducts Quality Control checks on completed project work\nExecutes mock audits to ensure project team members are executing IAW DLA SOP’s\nReports Non-Conforming results to Project Lead\nTracks QCP results and prepares reports \nValidate processes through statistical sampling and other measuring techniques.\nPerform first article inspections as required. \nPrepare reports as required. \nReceive data from, and input data to Distribution Standard System (DSS) and other automated systems in performance of duties.\nQuality Control point of contact for distribution mission. \nAssist in reviews of inventory process, COSIS process, packaging and shipping processes to ensure continued emphasis on continuous process improvement.\nPerform all other duties as assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nSupervisory responsibilities are not anticipated.\nEducation and/or Experience:\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nTwo years of college is preferred. (May substitute experience for education on a year-by-year basis). \nMinimum two years’ general experience. \nMinimum of two years’ specific experience in areas of inspection, quality assurance, and related areas. \nAble to successfully certify in Safety, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) and radioactive training requirements. Must be current in all certifications within 30 to 60 days of selection for position.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nMust be proficient with Microsoft Suite of products including, Word, Excel, Access and E-mail business software. \nMust demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a Team. \nPosition requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision. \nMust be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention for detail.\nAble to use processes of inspection/examination procedures for material. ·\nAble to read specifications, drawings, prints, schematics and photographs. ·\nMust be able to follow requirements of MIL-STD 129.\nCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:\nNone.\nSecurity Clearance:\nSECRET Level Required\nMust have a current US Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance or be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered Investigation.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen.\nMust also be able to maintain a US Government SECRET clearance.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
