The Project Supervisor will serve as the contractor’s on-site supervisor and primary point of contact for Government representatives and will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and ensuring the successful execution of PPP&M and material movement operations.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong warehouse leadership experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage personnel and workload in a fast-paced DLA distribution environment.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nServe as the on-site contractor supervisor and primary point of contact for Government representatives.\nPlan, coordinate, and manage daily contractor operations and workforce assignments.\nParticipate in daily workload planning meetings with the Government TPOC.\nReview available workload, staffing, production requirements, discrepancies, and prior-day accomplishments.\nEnsure personnel are assigned effectively to meet daily workload requirements.\nSupervise PPP&M remediation, including repackaging, relabeling, remarking, and correction of packaging discrepancies.\nCoordinate material movement and staging following completion of PPP&M processing.\nEnsure work is performed in accordance with applicable DLA policies, SOPs, military packaging requirements, and established procedures.\nMonitor productivity, quality, safety, and efficient use of resources.\nEnsure accurate and timely production reports, weekly status reports, and other required deliverables.\nIdentify and address operational issues, delays, discrepancies, and potential performance problems.\nMaintain effective quality-control practices and ensure work is completed within required performance standards.\nRespond to Government inquiries and operational issues as required.\nEnsure contractor personnel maintain required training, certifications, access, and workplace standards.\nPrevious experience supporting DLA Distribution or another Department of Defense logistics operation.\nExperience with DLA warehouse management systems and Government logistics data systems.\nExperience with PPP&M, stock readiness, military packaging, or warehouse remediation operations.\nArmy Pack-1A and Pack-1B training.\nExperience supervising personnel in a Government warehouse environment.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nSupervisory responsibilities are not anticipated.\nEducation and/or Experience:\nMinimum 4 years of related experience in warehouse operations, logistics, PPP&M, material handling, or a related field.\nDemonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nAbility to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple warehouse activities.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively with Government and contractor personnel.\nAbility to work in a warehouse/distribution environment and support material movement operations.\nDemonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience.\nAbility to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple warehouse activities.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively with Government and contractor personnel.\nAbility to work in a warehouse/distribution environment and support material movement operations.\nCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:\nPack-1B certification/training required.\nSecurity Clearance:\nIf SECRET Clearance Level is required, candidate must also:\nHave a current US Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance or be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered Investigation\nBe able to maintain a US Government SECRET clearance.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
