May be directed to temporarily deploy from their assigned home station to other DLA Distribution locations for inventory and audit-support missions. Potential locations include DLA Distribution sites throughout the United States as well as locations in Europe/Germany, Guam, Korea, Japan, and Sigonella, Italy.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nN/A\nEducation and/or Experience:\nMinimum of three years of experience using WMS or an equivalent Warehouse Management System within the past five years.\nBroad knowledge of supply, inventory, warehousing, storage, issue, packing, and transportation functions.\nExperience analyzing supply or logistics transactions and identifying operational problems.\nExperience with DLA WMS, DSS, Qlik, SAP, or similar Government logistics systems preferred\nMust successfully complete required WMS, mock audit, MHE, and other mandatory training.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse and operational environment.\nMust be willing and able to deploy for up to two weeks at a time to DLA Distribution Centers throughout the CONUS and OCONUS.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain required Government system access and installation credentials.\nDeployments may require commercial air travel, ground transportation, hotel stays, and work at geographically dispersed DLA facilities\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) or Department of Defense logistics experience.\nExperience managing climate-controlled or food/subsistence warehouse operations.\nExperience with DLA WMS.\nPrior experience supporting Government contracts.\nPrior supervisory experience in a high-volume distribution environment.\nCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:\nN/A\nSecurity Clearance:\nSECRET Level Required\nMust have a current US Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance or be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered Investigation.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen.\nMust have an Active Passport\nMust also be able to maintain a US Government SECRET clearance.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
