Summary :\n\nWe are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in GitHub Enterprise, Git, CI/CD, automation, AIX/Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code.\n\nThe ideal candidate will be responsible for modernizing enterprise development infrastructure, supporting SCM migration to Git/GitHub, building CI/CD pipelines, automating developer workflows, and managing containerized and cloud/on-premise environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Design and implement Git repository architecture for migrating legacy source code, releases, and change-management tracks to Git repositories, branches, and tags.\n\n- Lead and support large-scale SCM migrations in enterprise environments.\n\n- Develop tooling and CLI automation to modernize existing developer workflows and integrate with issue/defect management systems.\n\n- Build and maintain GitHub Enterprise organizations, teams, repositories, CODEOWNERS, and branch protection policies.\n\n- Design and implement GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines using self-hosted runners for build, testing, deployment, and release automation.\n\n- Integrate GitHub with internal tools using REST/GraphQL APIs.\n\n- Update and maintain AIX build infrastructure, Makefiles, packaging scripts, and release tooling.\n\n- Automate build, deployment, release, and operational processes using Python, Bash/KSH, and Perl.\n\n- Design and manage Kubernetes and Docker environments.\n\n- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.\n\n- Support AWS and hybrid cloud/on-premise environments.\n\n- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and deployments.\n\n- Support access control, security, and governance across GitHub Enterprise and DevOps environments.\n\n- Lead parallel-run strategies, validation, and final cutover during SCM migration.\n\n- Create technical documentation, runbooks, and training materials for engineering teams.\n\n- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to improve developer productivity and delivery automation.\n\nMandatory Skills :\n\n- Git and GitHub Enterprise\n\n- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines\n\n- Experience with large-scale SCM/Git migrations\n\n- Strong knowledge of Git internals, including fast-import, rebase, reflog, and history rewriting\n\n- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash/KSH\n\n- Good experience with Linux/AIX\n\n- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes\n\n- Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform or CloudFormation\n\n- Experience with AWS or hybrid cloud environments\n\n- Experience with repository management, branching strategies, access control, CODEOWNERS, and branch protection\n\n- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, automation, build, release, and deployment processes\n\n- Experience troubleshooting CI/CD and infrastructure-related issues\n\nGood to Have :\n\n- Experience with AIX/Power Systems architecture\n\n- Experience with LPP packaging and AIX build systems\n\n- Experience administering GitHub Enterprise at enterprise scale\n\n- Knowledge of IBM RETAIN/APAR defect tracking workflows\n\n- Experience with Jira or GitHub Projects\n\n- Knowledge of REST/GraphQL APIs\n\n- Experience with Nginx, load balancing, and traffic routing\n\n- Knowledge of SSL, TLS, SSO, and certificates\n\n- Experience with AWS services\n\n- Experience with developer productivity or infrastructure engineering teams\n\n- Experience with Ansible or other configuration-management tools\n\nExperience :\n\n- 8 - 15 years of overall experience in DevOps, Build/Release Engineering, Developer Infrastructure, SCM,
