They build genuine relationships with guests, who often return and ask for them by name. With natural showmanship, strong communication skills and a sharp eye for detail, they create a memorable experience on both sides of the bar.\nIn this hybrid role, you’ll primarily work behind the bar, preparing beverages promptly and efficiently while upholding O&B standards. You’ll communicate drink descriptions and modifications clearly with your team so every guest receives exactly what they ordered. You’ll also bring the skills to step onto the floor as a Server when needed, guiding guests through the menu, taking orders and delivering warm, attentive service.\nThe day to day:\nCreate a positive guest experience through warm interaction and consistent adherence to the steps of service\nMaintain thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items to make confident recommendations\nReceive drink orders promptly and prepare all beverages according to O&B standards\nPresent beverages clearly and in an organized manner at the service bar pick-up area\nCommunicate beverage descriptions, features and specials to guests and team members\nSupport the floor as a Server when needed: greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, and delivering attentive table service\nSet up and break down the bar area, dishwasher and espresso machine\nStock and maintain all bar products, including mise en place\nMonitor and maintain beer keg and liquor levels\nCount and record inventory of all beverages and supplies, and assist the manager with ordering\nStay informed of all special requests, including guest allergies\nPerform other duties as assigned\n Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a similar environment\nPrevious serving experience required; restaurant service is an asset\nExcellent knowledge of wine, beer and classic cocktails\nExperience with cocktail batching is an asset\nPassion for food, beverage and delivering exceptional guest service\nAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to stand for extended periods and lift and move beer kegs, liquor and wine cases\nAvailability on evenings, weekends and holidays as needed\nLegally eligible to work in Canada\n This is a current vacancy\nHourly Wage $17.95 /hr\nAI Disclosure\nTo ensure a fair and efficient recruitment process, some aspects of candidate screening may be conducted using AI software.
