The Retail Zone Team Leader oversees a team that is passionate about merchandising and selling merchandise, as well as ensuring an exceptional associate and customer experience. Responsibilities include all aspects of merchandising, and customer service oversight.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nExecute established procedures for assigned zone, including merchandising, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, ad sets, and daily recovery.\n\nEnsure that store standards, operational compliance, seasonal planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet all operational expectations.\nOversee process to ensure that merchandise is planned for and received, and that the sales floor is properly stocked.\n\nEnsure proper scheduling and staffing for effective unload/processing of merchandise to the sales floor while driving associate productivity, daily task assignment, and customer service standards.\nSupervise associates within the assigned zone, communicate company directives to ensure follow-up is completed.\nPerform all Team Leader functions to open and close the store when needed and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nMinimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.\nSchedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.\nPositive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to push and pull up to 35 pounds.\nAbility to stand for extended periods and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. \nOllie’s is an equal opportunity employer.
