In this role, you'll work with a team of experienced engineers to deliver projects, solve complex challenges, and take on increasing responsibility in engineering analysis, design, and project coordination. As a continuing developmental Engineer-in-Training (EIT), you'll apply established engineering principles, contribute to practical design solutions, and continue building the technical and professional skills needed for long-term career growth.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities: \nDesign Solutions by developing calculations, models, and construction documents to deliver safe, practical industrial facilities.\nDeliver Projects by supporting design, coordination, and project documentation for successful project outcomes.\nSolve Challenges by applying engineering principles and collaborating with experienced engineers to develop effective solutions.\nCollaborate Across Teams with engineers, designers, clients, and contractors to advance project goals.\nGrow Your Expertise through hands-on experience with structural analysis, design software, and real-world projects.\nSupport Quality Delivery by preparing calculations, reports, and documentation that meet project requirements.\nDevelop Others by mentoring interns and sharing technical knowledge.\nGain Field Experience through site visits that verify conditions and support design and construction activities.\nQualifications\nYou are passionate about: \nCollaborating with coworkers to develop custom, impactful solutions for clients.\nPlaying an active role in project success - from understanding scope, contributing to designs, and creation of project documents.\nContinuously learning and developing new skills to grow as an engineer.\nSupporting the industries that keep our communities strong.\nWorking in a fast-paced environment where each day brings new challenges and opportunities.\nAdvancing team goals through a willingness to take on new challenges.\nYou bring to the team: \nStrong communication skills. \nAbility to contribute and work well with a team. \nExcellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. \nBachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis.\nA minimum of one year of engineering experience. \nMust possess an Engineer Intern (EI) certificate. \nExperience developing detailed 3D models and construction documentation in Autodesk Revit.\nFamiliar with ACAD Software, RISA 3D, EnerCalc, MS Excel, and Hilti/Dewalt design.\nAdditional Information\nOlsson specializes in engineering and design, client advisory services, planning, field services, and environmental.
