As an Associate Technician, you'll support substation design projects by creating and updating drawings, developing 3D models, and assisting engineers and designers throughout the project lifecycle. This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, collaborates well with others, adapts to changing priorities, and is committed to continuous learning and delivering quality work.\nWhat You'll Do\nSupport substation design using AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and other design software.\nCreate and update plan sheets, elevations, sections, and 3D models.\nIncorporate redline revisions and project standards into design documents.\nMaintain project documentation and prepare drawing packages for project milestones and deliverables.\nCollaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.\nAdapt to evolving project requirements, client standards, and new technologies.\nQualifications\nYou are passionate about:\nWorking collaboratively with others.\nHaving ownership in the work you do.\nUsing your talents to positively affect communities.\nYou bring to the team:\nAssociate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.\nDrafting certificate or related technical training preferred.\nNew graduates and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply.\nFamiliarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, MicroStation, or similar design software.\nBasic understanding of Bluebeam or comparable PDF software.\nAbility to adapt to changing project needs while maintaining a commitment to quality and excellence.\nAdditional Information\nOlsson specializes in engineering and design, client advisory services, planning, field services, and environmental.
