This, in turn, creates a lasting impact on the world around us.\nJob Description\nAs our firm continues to grow and projects become more complex, we are excited to be growing our Contracts and Risk Management team. The Contracts and Risk Management Coordinator supports the organization’s contracts and risk management service area and technical teams in managing project contracting to limit risk and exposure while positioning the firm to work on a diverse range of projects. Performs routine contracts and risk management assignments according to established guidelines while using knowledge of the organization, processes, and procedures to develop solutions in non-standard situations. May include services related to contract review, initial negotiation, editing for risk, and contract signing authority and compliance. \nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities: \nPlans and executes the review, negotiation, and execution of non-standard contracts for the firm in accordance with leadership and contract signing authority.\nEstablishes, communicates, and meets deadlines for timely completion of contract reviews.\nMaintains a high level of quality and/or accuracy in all contracts and risk management information, analysis, and documentation. \nWorks closely with technical staff to negotiate and facilitate negotiation with clients to mitigate high risk language in contracts with limited direction.\nGathers, maintains, and analyzes contract review information in Smartsheet database.\nAssists in limiting the firm’s risk by aligning contract language to firm standards and ensuring compliance with the contract signing authority. \nAssists in developing background research on target projects and potential clients.\nCoordinates the strategy for the contract review process. \nParticipates in project specific contracts and risk management strategy meetings. \nQualifications\nYou are passionate about:\nWorking collaboratively with others.\nHaving ownership in the work you do.\nUsing your talents to positively affect communities.\nYou bring to the team:\nAssociate degree in business, communications, or a related area preferred. \nMinimum three years’ experience in a related position. \nSkilled in technical writing, editing abilities, and a strong attention to detail.\nAble to develop and foster effective professional relationships internally and externally.\nHas solid verbal and written communication skills. \nExhibits good interpersonal, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. \nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite products and Smartsheet\nAdditional Information\nOlsson specializes in engineering and design, client advisory services, planning, field services, and environmental.
