This, in turn, creates a lasting impact on the world around us.\nJob Description\nOlsson provides multidisciplinary design services for mixed-use, commercial, and residential land development projects, along with municipal, industrial, sports, schools, and other site development types. \nAs a Licensed Civil Engineer, you will perform engineering and project management duties on land development projects and meet client needs from conception to completion. You will also process design calculations, assist with developing project scopes and schedules, and travel to job sites for observation.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerforms various engineering duties related to evaluating, designing, and constructing plans for small to large-sized projects.\nAssists with preparation of project documents and is knowledgeable of project scope, schedule, and budget.\nPerforms process design calculations and analyzes reports to prepare cost estimates and determine feasibility of projects.\nApplies knowledge and experience with standard techniques, methods, and procedures to assist with coordination of project design aspects.\nCommunicates project development and progress with project managers and/or clients.\nEnters and maintains project information and client records in the firm’s project management system.\nEvaluates and proposes adaptations to standard methods and procedures for components of assignments.\nMay supervise and provide technical guidance to less experienced staff.\nMay travel and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions at project sites in various stages of construction.\nQualifications\nYou are passionate about:\nWorking collaboratively with others.\nHaving ownership in the work you do.\nUsing your talents to positively affect communities.\nYou bring to the team:\nStrong communication skills.\nAbility to contribute and work well on a team.\nBachelor's degree in civil engineering.\n4 to 8 years of related civil engineering experience.\nProficient in Civil 3D software.\nMust be a registered Professional Engineer (PE).\nAdditional Information\nOlsson specializes in engineering and design, client advisory services, planning, field services, and environmental.
