This, in turn, creates a lasting impact on the world around us.\nJob Description\nWe are seeking an experienced FP&A professional to support enterprise-level financial analysis, modeling, and strategic planning activities. This role partners closely with finance leadership, accounting, and technical teams to drive informed decision-making, evaluate investments, and support the firm’s long-term growth strategy. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will help develop and lead the financial planning and analysis function for a high-growth, industry-leading firm.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist with company valuation models and related risk assessment activities.\nCollaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to gather assumptions, challenge inputs, and ensure alignment with growth and strategic objectives.\nProvide leadership for annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles for the firm and key departments.\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance integrated financial models, including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and capital expenditure and operating expense modeling.\nAnalyze, model, and monitor return on key investments and capital purchases, providing insights and recommendations.\nBuild and evaluate sensitive analysis scenarios to support strategic, financial, and operational decision-making.\nCreate and monitor business performance metrics, including key performance indicator tracking, profitability analysis, and trend analysis.\nPartner with the accounting team to support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.\nQualifications\nYou are passionate about:\nWorking collaboratively with others.\nHaving ownership in the work you do.\nUsing your talents to positively affect communities.\nYou bring to the team:\nBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field required.\nCPA license is strongly preferred.\nMinimum of 4 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling, with a strong understanding of financial statements, valuation concepts, and forecasting methodologies.\nAbility to influence through data and clearly communicate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.\nAdvanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems and ERP platforms.\nWe are open to this role being located in Omaha, NE, Lincoln, NE, Overland Park, KS or possible other locations.\nAdditional Information\nOlsson specializes in engineering and design, client advisory services, planning, field services, and environmental.
