No relocation allowance will be considered unless specifically addressed.\n\nSummary / Primary Role:\nThe Janitor I is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment throughout the facility. This position performs general cleaning, disinfecting, and housekeeping duties to support daily operations and ensure a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\nClean and disinfect offices, restrooms, lobbies, conference rooms, training rooms, breakrooms, and other common areas.\nSweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors, carpets, and rugs.\nClean windows, mirrors, walls, baseboards, furniture, fixtures, and doors.\nDisinfect high-touch surfaces, including desks, door handles, phones, office equipment, kiosks, and kitchen areas.\nEmpty trash and recycling bins and properly dispose of waste.\nClean, sanitize, and restock restrooms throughout the shift.\nDust furniture and fixtures, clean light fixtures, and remove accumulated debris.\nOperate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment as assigned.\nMaintain cleaning supplies and inventory, restock supply carts and cabinets, and notify management when replenishment is needed.\nPerform scheduled weekly cleaning of designated areas, including the lab, 1R, and P rooms.\nPrepare and maintain the lobby, front office, and large conference room for scheduled visitors.\nClean refrigerators weekly, removing expired food as directed.\nIdentify and report unsafe conditions or maintenance concerns to management.\nComplete and submit required weekly paperwork.\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned.\n\nWhat You Bring:\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required.\nPrevious experience cleaning offices, warehouses, or similar commercial facilities.\nExperience operating floor care equipment is a plus.\nAbility to follow cleaning procedures, maintain safety standards, and work independently.\nStrong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills.\n\nBenefits:\nWe offer a comprehensive and competitive compensation and benefits package, including:\n• A choice of medical plans with FSA and HSA options• Dental Insurance• Vision Insurance• Company-paid Life and Disability Insurance• 401(k) Plan with Company Match• Paid Time Off (PTO) and Company Holidays• Employee Assistance Program• Company Health & Wellness Program• Discounts with Preferred Vendors\n At Odyssey, we believe the best ideas come from people with different skills, experiences, and perspectives.
