No relocation allowance will be considered unless specifically addressed.\n\nSummary / Primary Role:\nThe Rotational Intern will gain hands-on exposure to the freight transportation and logistics industry by rotating through key functions of the business, which may include Intermodal Operations, Sales, Pricing, and Finance. The intern will support day-to-day team activities, complete assigned projects, and deliver a capstone project presented to leadership at the end of the program. This role is designed to develop business, analytical, and communication skills while building an understanding of how Odyssey serves its customers.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\nComplete structured rotations across key business functions, which may include Intermodal Operations, Sales, Pricing, and Finance.\nSupport the operations team with day-to-day shipment tracking, scheduling, and customer and carrier communications.\nAssist Sales and Pricing teams with market research, rate analysis, and preparation of customer proposals.\nSupport Finance with data entry, invoice and accessorial review, and reconciliation activities.\nGather, organize, and analyze data in Excel to build reports and identify trends or improvement opportunities.\nShadow team members and leaders to learn the intermodal and freight transportation industry.\nOwn a capstone project addressing a real business challenge and present findings and recommendations to leadership at the end of the program.\nParticipate in intern program activities, including training sessions, networking events, and site visits.\nWork within the parameters of Company policy and maintain the confidentiality of customer and Company information.\nAll other duties and projects as assigned.\n\nWhat You Bring:\nCurrently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (rising junior or senior preferred) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.\nMinimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 preferred.\nNo prior industry experience required; previous internship, work, or leadership experience is a plus.\nHigh level of attention to detail.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Intermediate Excel skills are a plus.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills and comfort working with internal teams and customers.\nEagerness to learn, ability to take initiative, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.\n\nCompensation & Schedule Details:\nBase Pay Range: $15.00/hour \nBonus Eligible: No\nCommission Eligible: No\nAs required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, Odyssey provides a range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements.
