This role applies process engineering and continuous improvement methods to improve safety, quality, productivity, capacity, cost, and customer satisfaction. The position focuses on process design, automation, facility layout, project management, KPI reporting, root cause analysis, and standardization.\nWhat You'll Do\nWe are seeking an analytical and results-driven Process Engineer who can identify opportunities for operational improvement, lead projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions.\nProcess Improvement & Engineering\nIdentify opportunities to improve warehouse, production, packaging, and operational processes.\nApply Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methods to reduce waste, errors, variation, and costs.\nSupport process design, facility layout, process flow, equipment requirements, SOPs, and process standardization.\nAnalyze operational data and develop recommendations to improve productivity, capacity, quality, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction.\nAutomation & Capital Projects\nIdentify automation opportunities and develop business cases, including ROI, labor, and payback analyses.\nSupport equipment selection, specifications, vendor coordination, testing, startup, implementation, and training.\nParticipate in automation, facility expansion, process redesign, and other capital projects.\nManage project activities and help ensure projects are completed effectively and deliver expected results.\nData, KPIs & Performance\nDevelop dashboards, scorecards, reports, and visual management tools to track operational performance.\nMonitor KPIs and use data to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.\nTrack improvement results, including cost savings, labor efficiency, productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and on-time performance.\nSafety, Quality & Continuous Improvement\nEnsure process improvements meet safety, quality, environmental, regulatory, and operational requirements.\nSupport risk assessments, Management of Change, audits, investigations, corrective actions, and EHS initiatives.\nPartner with Operations, Customer Service, Quality, EHS, Maintenance, and Leadership to execute improvement initiatives.\nFacilitate cross-functional teams, provide change-related training, and promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.\nMinimum 2 years of experience in process engineering, continuous improvement, warehousing, logistics, production, packaging, manufacturing, chemical operations, automation, or capital projects preferred.\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.\nWorking knowledge of:\nLean and Six Sigma methodologies\nRoot cause analysis\nKPI tracking and dashboards\nData analysis\nSOPs and process documentation\nFacility layouts and process flows\nEquipment requirements\nCAD/layout tools\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong project management and organizational skills.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills.\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage change.\nSelf-motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented.\nCompensation & Schedule Details\nBase Pay Range: $65,000 – $70,000 per yearBonus Eligible: Not specifiedCommission Eligible: No\nNo relocation allowance will be considered unless specifically addressed. All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nThis position works in an office environment while regularly interacting with warehouse, production, packaging, laboratory, and other operational areas to observe processes, collect data, support trials, and implement improvements.\nThe role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform activities including sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and grasping.
