No relocation allowance will be considered unless specifically addressed.\n\nSummary / Primary Role:\nThe position of Billing Lead will have primary responsibility for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of customer invoices. This role involves ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations, troubleshooting billing issues, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. The position requires coordinating and guiding team members.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\nBilling Operations:\nOversee the processing of customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. \nVerify the accuracy of billing information and resolve any discrepancies.\nDocumentation:\nEnsure all billing documents are correctly prepared and filed.\nCompliance:\nEnsure all billing activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.\nIssue Resolution:\nIdentify and resolve billing issues and discrepancies. \nCollaborate with internal departments, such as logistics and finance, to address and resolve complex billing problems.\nProcess Improvement:\nDevelop and implement best practices for billing processes.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.\nTeam Coordination:\n Lead and coordinate the billing team to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.\nProvide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.\nCustomer Service:\nAssist customers and vendors with billing inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.\nAddress and resolve billing-related questions and concerns promptly.\nTraining and Development:\nAssist in training team members on billing processes and systems.\nAll other duties and projects assigned.\n\nWhat You Bring:\nHigh school diploma or GED is required.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in billing, preferably in the warehouse or logistics industry.\nProficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to analyze billing data and identify discrepancies.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \nAbility to effectively communicate with team members, customers, and other departments.\nStrong organizational and time management skills. \nAbility to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nHigh level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of billing operations.\nCustomer-focused mindset with the ability to address and resolve customer billing issues promptly and professionally.\nLogistics knowledge is a plus.\n\nCompensation:\nBase Pay Range: $65,000 to $70,000 annually + Bonus Plan\nAs required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, Odyssey provides a range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements.
