This role compares incoming materials against manifests, invoices, and orders, enters receiving information into customer and internal systems, prepares shipping and receiving documentation, and identifies and documents damaged or discrepant products.\nWhat You'll Do\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Receiving Specialist II to support accurate and efficient warehouse receiving operations while maintaining high standards for documentation, safety, and inventory control.\nReceiving & Inspection\nReceive incoming materials and verify shipment contents against manifests, invoices, orders, and other records.\nInspect products for damage or issues and photograph damaged materials when necessary.\nAssist the Receiving Specialist I with receiving products during periods of increased workload.\nSupport other areas of the department as needed.\nDocumentation & Data Entry\nEnter received materials into customer systems such as SAP or WhiBoard.\nReceive materials into the P21 system and maintain accurate shipment records.\nPrepare work orders, bills of lading, shipping orders, and other documents used to route materials.\nRecord shipment information such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, and discrepancies for reporting and recordkeeping.\nLabeling & Warehouse Operations\nPrint and apply labels or relabel products when applicable.\nAssist with organizing and routing received materials.\nUse barcode scanners and warehouse technology to accurately process incoming shipments.\nFollow established warehouse procedures and safety requirements.\nSafety & Team Support\nMaintain a safe and organized warehouse/production environment.\nCommunicate effectively with team members and other departments.\nSupport departmental operations and perform additional duties and projects as assigned.\nWhat You Bring\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nNo related work experience required.\nGood Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge preferred.\nFood Safety and Defense / HACCP knowledge preferred.\nKnowledge and ability to work with barcode scanners preferred.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to read, write, and comprehend English.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team.\nStrong time-management and organizational skills.\nReliable, punctual, professional, and accountable.\nComfortable working in a warehouse/production environment.\nCompensation & Schedule Details\nBase Pay Range: $17.00 – $17.50 per hourBonus Eligible: Not specifiedCommission Eligible: No\nNo relocation allowance will be considered unless specifically addressed. Odyssey’s drug-free workplace policy applies regardless of state or local laws on cannabis use.\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nThis position operates in a warehouse/production environment with exposure to airborne particles such as dust, shavings, odors, and fumes, along with temperature and noise fluctuations and varying vibration levels.\nThe role routinely uses barcode readers, scanning devices, computers, label-making software, and supply chain software. Employees must be able to frequently grasp, pick, and pinch and may operate equipment such as pallet jacks.
