This role handles packaging, labeling, measuring, shipping orders, and preparing products for shipment while following established safety and quality requirements.\nWhat You'll Do:\nWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Logistics Packer who can safely and efficiently prepare products and materials for shipment in a warehouse and production environment.\nPacking & Packaging\nPack and package a wide variety of products and materials according to established specifications.\nAssemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools such as staple guns.\nUse polypropylene strapping tools, strap tensioners, and stretch-wrapping equipment to prepare products for shipment.\nShipping & Order Preparation\nProcess shipping orders and prepare completed packages for delivery.\nTransport packages to the appropriate shipping companies or designated shipping areas.\nLoad materials and products into packaging or processing equipment.\nRemove completed or defective products and materials and place them in designated areas such as loading docks.\nQuality, Labeling & Documentation\nExamine containers, materials, and products to ensure packaging specifications are met.\nMeasure, weigh, and count products and materials accurately.\nMark and label containers, container tags, and products using appropriate marking tools.\nRecord product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.\nWarehouse Safety & Organization\nClean containers, materials, supplies, and work areas using appropriate cleaning solutions and hand tools.\nSafely operate barcode readers, scanning devices, bundling machines, bagging machines, heat sealers, staple guns, stretch-wrap dispensers, and other equipment.\nMaintain a safe and organized work environment and follow applicable safety procedures.\nPerform other duties and projects as assigned.\nWhat You Bring:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nPrevious warehouse, packaging, shipping, receiving, or production experience is preferred.\nFamiliarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is preferred.\nFamiliarity with Food Safety and Defense / HACCP is preferred.\nKnowledge and ability to use barcode scanners is preferred.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to accurately measure, weigh, count, label, and document products.\nAbility to communicate effectively with coworkers and follow written and verbal instructions.\nStrong teamwork, time management, reliability, and personal accountability.\nProfessionalism and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse/production environment.\nCompensation & Schedule Details:\nBase Pay Range: $17.00 – $17.50 per hourBonus Eligible: Not specifiedCommission Eligible: No\nAs required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, Odyssey provides a range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Employees may also be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch throughout the workday. The position requires the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
