Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for enterprise data processing.
  • Build clean, maintainable, and reusable Python applications for data engineering workflows.
  • Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects in SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Deploy and support production data pipelines in cloud environments.
  • Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Improve ETL performance, reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and automated recovery mechanisms.
  • Participate in CI/CD implementation using Git and deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Follow software engineering best practices, including testing, documentation, and code reviews.
