The role will primarily focus on Accounts Payable and Finance Operations, including invoice processing, vendor management, payment processing, reconciliations, compliance, and month-end closing activities.This role is suitable for freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience who have a strong foundation in accounting and are keen to build their career in Finance & Accounts.\nDesignation: Finance Executive\nDepartment: Finance\nLocation: Bengaluru\nExperience: 0-2 Years\nKey Responsibilities\nAccounts Payable & Invoice Processing\nProcess vendor invoices accurately and within defined timelines.\nReview invoices for accuracy, approvals, tax details, and supporting documents.\nVerify invoice details against purchase orders, contracts, and agreed terms.\nEnsure accurate accounting and timely posting of invoices.\nTrack pending or exception invoices and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.\nVendor Management\nMaintain accurate vendor records and payment-related information.\nCoordinate with vendors to resolve invoice and payment-related queries.\nAssist in vendor statement reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.\nMaintain updated records of outstanding vendor balances.\nPayments & Payables\nAssist in preparing vendor payment schedules.\nCoordinate with internal stakeholders for payment approvals.\nSupport timely and accurate processing of vendor payments.\nTrack outstanding payables and maintain payment records.\nReconciliation & Reporting\nAssist in vendor and AP ledger reconciliations.\nIdentify discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.\nSupport month-end and year-end closing activities.\nPrepare basic AP ageing, outstanding payable reports, and finance MIS.\nEnsure financial records and supporting documents are maintained accurately.\nTax & Compliance\nAssist with transactions involving GST and TDS.\nEnsure invoices and supporting documents comply with company policies.\nMaintain proper documentation for audit and compliance requirements.\nSupport internal and external audits by providing required records and documents.\nFinance Operations\nSupport day-to-day Finance & Accounts activities.\nCoordinate with internal teams to resolve finance-related queries.\nAssist in improving finance processes and reducing payment discrepancies.\nTake ownership of assigned finance activities and ensure timely closure.\nRequired Skills\nBasic understanding of accounting and Accounts Payable processes.\nBasic knowledge of GST, TDS, and vendor reconciliation.\nGood working knowledge of MS Excel.\nFamiliarity with Tally, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or other accounting/ERP systems is an advantage.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood communication and coordination skills.\nWillingness to learn and take ownership of responsibilities.\nEligibility Criteria\nEducation\nB.Com, M.Com, MBA, or equivalent qualification in Finance/Accounting.\nExperience\n0-2 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, Accounts Payable, Accounting, Finance Operations, or a related field.\nFreshers with a strong academic background in Accounting/Finance are encouraged to apply.\nPreferred Background\nCandidates with exposure to Fintech, NBFC, Banking, E-commerce, Shared Services, or Corporate Finance will be preferred.\nInternship or practical experience in Accounts Payable, invoice processing, reconciliation, or accounting operations will be an added advantage.\nKey Success Metrics\nAccuracy and timely processing of invoices.\nTimely and accurate vendor payments.\nTimely completion of reconciliations.\nReduction in invoice and payment discrepancies.\nCompliance with accounting policies, GST, and TDS
