You will independently own technical components, contribute to architecture and design decisions, and work closely with engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nFollow Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and build processes.\nIndependently design and develop Factories, APIs, and interfaces using Java.\nBuild clean, maintainable, scalable, and production-ready backend services.\nWork extensively with ORM frameworks/tools such as Hibernate or Ebean.\nDesign and optimize applications using MySQL/PostgreSQL, with a strong understanding of transactions, indexing, and query optimization.\nIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks through performance optimization, concurrency, and multithreading.\nDesign solutions with scalability, reliability, maintainability, and operational efficiency in mind.\nDrive test coverage, code quality, and continuous delivery automation within the team.\nContribute to the development of highly available and scalable distributed systems.\nCollaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.\nParticipate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.\nMentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices across the team.\nTechnical Skills\nMust Have\nStrong hands-on experience with Java.\nStrong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and software design principles.\nExperience independently designing and developing APIs, interfaces, and reusable components.\nStrong experience with Hibernate/Ebean or similar ORM tools.\nGood understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL and relational database concepts.\nStrong understanding of transactions, indexing, and query optimization.\nExperience with performance optimization and multithreading.\nGood understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.\nExperience with code reviews, source control, build processes, and coding standards.\nStrong focus on automated testing and code quality.\nGood to Have\nExperience with Kafka.\nExperience with BigQuery.\nExperience with Elasticsearch.\nExperience building highly available and scalable distributed systems.\nExperience with CI/CD and continuous delivery automation.\nExperience working in FinTech, Banking, Payments, or other high-scale consumer-facing products.\nPreferred Qualifications\n5-8 years of professional software development experience.\nBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field from a reputed institution.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to independently own technical problems and drive solutions from design to production.\nStrong mentoring and leadership skills with the ability to guide junior
