Whether you're advancing national security, driving innovation in nuclear infrastructure, or supporting critical DOE and DoD operations, you’re part of something bigger here.\nOverview\nOmega Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager 2 to support ongoing operations in Los Alamos, NM.\nSupport the delivery of LANL’s ERP Modernization effort, specifically within the supply chain and manufacturing workstream, in a complex, matrixed program environment. This role operates under the guidance of the Program Manager and serves as the primary coordination point between supply chain, manufacturing, functional teams, program leadership, and vendors to ensure project outcomes are achieved within scope, schedule, and budget. This position has possibility to be hybrid work; candidates should be able to work within a reasonable commute or travel cadence as required by program needs.\nResponsibilities\nThis is a hands-on delivery role suited for a motivated project management professional who brings strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to work effectively across business and IT teams. We are looking for a solid project manager who can ramp up quickly and deliver results.\nDuties:\nManage and ensure the timely completion of multi-discipline supply chain and manufacturing projects of low to moderate complexity and scope. \nProvide leadership throughout the full project lifecycle using appropriate project management methodologies and tools.\n\nOversee project teams in planning, tracking, and execution; facilitate transfer of operations and maintenance activities at project completion.\n\nDevelop and maintain project charters, project management plans (PMPs), schedules, and other technical documentation to a professional standard.\n\nCoordinate activities of supply chain, manufacturing, and technical personnel and collaborate with relevant staff on delivery of specific products and projects.\n\nIdentify, document, and manage project-level risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate cross-workstream or program-level impacts as needed.\n\nPartner with customers to define expectations, solve problems, and establish mutual responsibilities.\n\nCoordinate with business owners, functional SMEs, and technical teams to support readiness and adoption.\n\nTranslate project management concepts into accessible language for diverse audiences both within and outside of supply chain/manufacturing.\n\nEducation Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.\nQualifications\nCandidate must be a U.S. Citizen. \nSatisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a drug and breath alcohol test, along with a Motor Vehicle Record check. \nCandidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance.\nTen (10) years work experience (5+ years experience in at least one of the following functions: engineering, procurement and construction) leading to a thorough understanding of the knowledge described above, or any combination of education and experience. \nPMP, Scrum Master Certification (CSM), SAFe, or equivalent Agile credential.\nDemonstrated ability to manage projects of low-to-moderate complexity through the full project lifecycle initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.\n\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to maintain project plans, track milestones, manage scope, and keep teams aligned with program controls and governance expectations.\n\nClear, professional communication skills and able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and engage effectively with functional leads, business owners, and program leadership.\n\nExcellent communication and leadership skills with demonstrated problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability.\n\nWorking knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing environments, ERP systems, and relevant methodologies, tools, and processes.\n\nAbility to produce professional project charters, project plans, and other technical and project documents.\n\nAbility to partner with customers to solve problems while defining expectations and mutual responsibilities.\n\nAbility to translate project management terminology for both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.\n\nProficiency with standard project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or equivalent).\n\nExperience with project scheduling for an IT project.\n\nKnowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tools and processes.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPossession of an active DOE/DoD clearance within the past two (2) years is preferred. \nPrevious DOE/NNSA work experience.\nExperience leading diverse development teams across different organizational contexts (varying team sizes, co-located vs. distributed, Agile vs. Waterfall). \nExperience working in a hybrid methodology environment (Agile and Waterfall combined). \nExperience in technical writing, editing, and preparing and delivering formal and informal presentations. \nFamiliarity with project management in government, federal agency, or regulated industry environments. \nWork Schedule\nShift will be dependent upon customer site discretion.Why Omega Technical Services?\nOmega Technical Services is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and a trusted partner to the Department of Energy, Department of Defense, and other commercial clients, supporting mission-critical projects that shape national security and technological innovation.
