You will improve and build the HR function at Omen. If you’re looking for an opportunity to do a lot of 0 to 1 work and have high ownership, that’s what this is. \nWhat you'll do\nBuild/Improve onboarding and offboarding so every new hire is set up and productive from day one\nRun our HR system of record: people data, PTO and documents in one place\nRun benefits administration and open enrollment with our broker and payroll provider\nOwn compliance: California and multi-state employment rules, I-9s, required postings and trainings\nBe the go-to for employee questions and employee relations, including hard conversations and investigations\nBuild simple, repeatable processes for offers, promotions, leaves and departures\nPartner with the founders and hiring managers as the team scales\nWhat you bring\n3+ years as an HR generalist or people operations generalist, ideally at a startup or a small team\nHands-on generalist work across onboarding, benefits, employee relations and compliance, not just coordination\nYou want to be the first HR person and build from scratch, not run someone else's playbook\nJudgment with sensitive situations, and knowing when to bring in employment counsel\nOrganized, and you keep process simple enough that people actually use it\nComfortable at a startup where priorities change week to week\nNice to have\nYou've been the first or only HR person at a startup before\nHardware, manufacturing, data center or energy companies, including hourly or field teams and workplace safety\nExperience setting up an HRIS (Rippling, Gusto, Justworks or similar) at an early-stage company\nSHRM-CP or PHR\nComp\nBase 110-150k + equity +
