At Oxford, we have a commitment to customer service excellence and we strive to achieve this goal through every interaction, everyday. As a Guest Experience Representative, you are an ambassador for Upper Canada Mall and must ensure professionalism, pride, and passion each and everyday.\nHillcrest Mall is open Monday-Saturday from 10AM-8PM and Sunday 11AM-7PM. Shifts can begin as early as 8AM and end as late as 10PM. These hours will vary based on special events and changes in operational hours.\nFlexible availability is required for this role. We require a minimum availability of 3 days per week (including weekends). When submitting an application for this role, kindly include an up-to-date resume with your weekly availability clearly highlighted.\nAs a member of this team, you will be responsible for:\nProactively seek opportunities to create memorable guest experiences by assisting guests and providing exceptional service.\n\nMaintain a thorough knowledge of the shopping centre’s services, amenities/facilities, stores, brands and promotional activities.\n\nDeliver all services offered at the Guest Experience locations - including selling the Gift Card PLUS.\n\nAssist guest by providing directions/information, answering questions, and performing other centre specific services as assigned.\n\nStay relevant in fashion, maintain brand knowledge including price points, and gift suggestions to ease shopper’s path to purchase.\n\nProactively listen to identify and deliver on customers needs.\n\nCommunicate effectively with shoppers, retailers, centre management and all shopping centre personnel.\n\nWork closely with the Management Office and the Marketing Department to assist with marketing needs\n\nMaintain supply stock of promotional items\n\nTo succeed in this role, you:\nHigh School Education; post-secondary education preferred in a related field of study (i.e. Hospitality, Marketing/Communications, Real Estate/Property Management, etc.)\n\nPrevious guest services or customer service experience (required)\n\nA positive attitude and a strong desire to provide excellent guest experiences\n\nThe ability to effectively and politely communicate with shoppers, retailers, Centre Management, Service Providers, all shopping centre personnel\n\nThe ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times\n\nStrong written and oral communication skills\n\nConflict resolution/management skills\n\nA friendly, approachable, proactive and solution focused attitude\n\nComputer skills - including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Sheets and Social Media tools and services\n\nOrganization and time management skills\n\nThe ability to adapt quickly to change in work requirements with the ability to can re-prioritize tasks as needed\n\nThe ability to engage in physical activities including but not limited to: prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending\n\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy.The expected hourly rate for this position is $18.00-19.00/hr.You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans - details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.\nOxford's purpose is to strengthen economies and communities through real estate.\nOur people-first culture is at its best when our workforce reflects the communities where we live and work - and the customers we proudly serve.\nFrom hire to retire, we are an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive, barrier-free recruitment and selection process that extends all the way through your employee experience.
