Title: Project Engineer\nReporting to: ESB Flow Manager\nBusiness Unit: Ireland\nRole purpose\nWorking for the Ireland Business Unit, this role is a key part of our organisational success, ensuring commitments to our customers are delivered on time and to the highest standard.\nThe job holder will have a consistent track record of project delivery along with demonstratable experience in developing diverse teams whilst maintaining collaborative relationships both internally with colleagues and within the client base.\nResponsibilities & Duties\nResponsibilities & Duties will include but are not limited to:\nRepresent Omexom professionally in a wide range of project situations with various internal and external stakeholders\n\nOwnership of deliverables relating to time, cost, and quality, ensuring safe delivery of projects\n\nLead, develop and support teams operating on a variety of projects\n\nUse excellent communication skills to run and engage with internal and external partners in a timely manner\n\nAssist with managing compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, policy and legislation\n\nLead projects to the requirements set out within our governance framework for project delivery\n\nAssist with programme development and resource planning\n\nCo-ordinate activities, resources, materials and equipment\n\nProvide technical support to the site team, continuously looking for improvement\n\nDevelop reports for as required for project reporting\n\nInteract with all Client personnel as required to ensure full co-operation on projects is achieved through good interpersonal relationships\n\nAttend and undertake meetings with clients, contractors and consultants as required\n\nCoordination & Management of Clients/Sub-contractors\n\nWork closely with the Commercial Team to manage project costs and income, ensuring commercial targets are met\n\nTravel as required to support business requirements\n\nAny other duties deemed necessary for the effective functioning of the Business Unit\n\nKey interfaces\nRelationships with key stakeholders:\nRegional Director\n\nBusiness Unit General Manager\n\nESB Flow Manager\n\nProject Manager\n\nProject Teams & Colleagues\n\nSub-contractors\n\nExternal stakeholders, e.g. Client, Eirgrid, ESB etc.\n\nPerson Specification Qualifications and experience\nThe jobholder shall be a motivated self-starter, possessing:\nGood commercial awareness with ability to monitor and accurately report performance against pre-determined targets\nA sound working knowledge of electrical infrastructure, Safety Rules, Safety Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013 (ROI)\nGood working knowledge of computers and relevant computer packages including Microsoft office products\nExceptional customer focus\nA willingness to assimilate to our Values\nExperience and understanding of working within contract terms and conditions\nDesirable skills and competencies:\nDegree or HND in relevant engineering or technical discipline\nFormal Electrical qualifications (QQI Level 6, C&G Inspection & testing etc.)\nPrevious ESB experience\nAbility to organise and prioritize their own time and schedule\nFull RoI Driving License\nSound working knowledge of broader electrical networks including distribution systems and associated plant and equipment\nA passion for energy and a desire to develop new services in the market utilizing new innovative technology\nKnowledge of civil works would also be an advantage\nCompetencies\nRequired
