The role ensures the reliability, security, and scalability of network, server, and cloud systems that underpin Omilia's internal operations and platform delivery, acting as the primary technical owner for infrastructure health and capacity.\nAccountabilities\nOwns the availability, performance, and security posture of Omilia's IT infrastructure across network, server, and cloud layers.\nAccountable for infrastructure lifecycle management: capacity planning, procurement, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.\nResponsible for backup integrity, disaster recovery readiness, and business continuity across all managed systems.\nEnsures infrastructure compliance with Omilia's security policies and relevant certifications (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS).\nContributes to infrastructure strategy and roadmap, identifying opportunities to improve resilience, efficiency, and cost.\nKey Responsibilities\nAdminister and maintain network infrastructure: LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and switching/routing equipment.\nManage server infrastructure (physical and virtual) including provisioning, patching, performance tuning, and decommissioning.\nAdminister cloud infrastructure across GCP, AWS, or Azure: compute, storage, networking, and IAM configurations.\nManage virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerisation environments where applicable.\nImplement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions; conduct periodic DR tests and document outcomes.\nMonitor infrastructure health using observability tools (e.g. Zabbix, Datadog, Grafana); respond to and resolve infrastructure incidents.\nEnforce infrastructure security controls: patch management, vulnerability remediation, access hardening, and certificate management.\nManage on-premises and cloud storage solutions, ensuring data integrity, retention compliance, and performance.\nMaintain infrastructure documentation: network diagrams, runbooks, configuration baselines, and change records.\nSupport IT security audits and contribute infrastructure evidence to compliance programmes (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS).\nRequirements\nKnowledge, Skills & Experience\nRequired:\n3-5 years of IT infrastructure administration or systems engineering experience.\nHands-on experience with network administration: firewalls (e.g. Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco), VPN, DNS/DHCP, VLANs.\nSolid experience with server administration on Linux and/or Windows Server environments.\nExperience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure) at an administration level.\nExperience with virtualisation technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or equivalent).\nFamiliarity with backup and DR tools and methodologies; experience designing or testing recovery procedures.\nKnowledge of infrastructure security principles: hardening, patch management, access controls, certificate lifecycle.\nExperience with infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools.\nMethodical approach to documentation, change management, and incident response.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to diagnose complex infrastructure issues under pressure.\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.\nNice to have:\nRelevant certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, AWS/GCP/Azure Associate, VMware VCP, or equivalent.\nExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).\nExposure to containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).\nExperience in a SaaS, cloud-native, or CCaaS technology environment.\nOmilia Note\n- Contribute actively and effectively as an integrated team member.\n- Act as an Omilia ambassador in all interactions.\nBenefits\nFixed compensation;\nLong-term employment with the working days vacation;\nDevelopment in professional growth (courses, training, etc);\nBeing part of successful cutting-edge technology products that are making a global impact in the service industry;\nProficient and fun-to-work-with colleagues;\nApple gear\nIf you're a rare builder who speaks both code and pipeline, stays ahead of AI trends, and thrives as a cross-functional collaborator, we want to hear from you.\nApply Now to join Omilia and help engineer the future of conversational AI.\nOmilia is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
