advantage.\n\nResponsibilities: \nAdminister, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers, including RHEL, CentOS, Rocky Linux, and Ubuntu.\nPerform server provisioning, patching, upgrades, hardening, and lifecycle management.\nMonitor server health, performance, capacity, and availability.\nManage user accounts, permissions, filesystems, and LVM configurations.\nTroubleshoot OS, application, filesystem, and network-related issues.\nPerform backup, restoration, and disaster recovery activities.\nEnsure compliance with security policies and vulnerability remediation requirements.\nHandle incident, change, and problem management activities as per SLA.\nPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.\nCoordinate with application and security teams for issue resolution.\nMaintain operational documentation, SOPs, and system inventories.\nProvide basic administration of VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments.\nCreate and manage virtual machines.\nMonitor virtual infrastructure performance and resource utilization.\nSupport VM provisioning, migration, and troubleshooting activities.\nProvide basic administration of Windows Server environments.\nSupport Windows server patching and troubleshooting activities.\n\nRequirements: \nStrong experience in Linux administration across RHEL, CentOS, Rocky Linux, and Ubuntu.\nLinux server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.\nFilesystem and LVM management.\nUser and access management.\nShell scripting using Bash.\nPackage management using YUM, DNF, and RPM.\nNetworking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, NTP, SSH, and routing basics.\nPerformance monitoring and tuning.\nExperience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems.\nKnowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nAbility to work in a production-critical environment.\nGood communication and stakeholder management skills.\nWillingness to work in rotational shifts and provide on-call support when required.\n\nNice To Have: \nExposure to VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.\nBasic Windows Server administration.\nKnowledge of SAN/NAS storage.\nExperience with automation tools such as Ansible.\nFamiliarity with backup solutions such as Veeam, Commvault, and Veritas NetBackup.\nKnowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow.\nRHCSA, RHCE, or other Red Hat Linux certifications.\nVMware VCP certification.\nMicrosoft certifications.\nITIL Foundation certification.\nSkills\nBash, CentOS, ESXi, Linux, RHEL, Rocky Linux, Shell, Ubuntu,
