company buyers to produce designs\nReview schematics/layout of internal and customer system platforms as per product requirements.\nEngage with potential customers and partners to identify custom requirements and incorporate those requirements into the system test process.\nCreate/edit test plans based on system specifications that may relate to signal integrity, RF, mechanical integrity, electrical, and requirements based on generic protocols.\nExecute and stand behind the qualification of the product, from a mass production perspective, in consumer electronic devices.\nMentor systems and validation team members\nQualifications and Experience\nBSEE Required, MSEE Preferred\n8+ years of systems hardware development and debug experience, including for digital, multi-gigabit, and high frequency, low noise analog interfaces\nDeep knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity design practices\nKnowledge of at least 2 of electrical interfaces for any of the high-speed protocols: USB3+; PCIe 2/3; ThunderBolt, DisplayPort; HDMI; SATA/SAS, Ethernet, LPDDR4/5, GMSL\nKnowledge of inter-chip protocols, such as UART, I2C, I3C, SPI, I2S, PWM\nKnowledge of microcontroller and FPGA development and development environments\nFamiliarity with Verilog\nSoftware development and debugging experience in C, C++, and Python and other scripting languages\nAbility to develop test scripts that control test equipment for determining IC device characteristics\nFamiliarity with test equipment, including oscilloscope, sampling scope, BERT (including CDR), protocol analyzer, spectrum analyzer, VNA, TDR, and other basic equipment\nUnderstanding of mechanical and thermal concepts\nExtensive protocol testing experience with any of the above protocols including a good understanding of the required test infrastructure.\nExperience in creating and simulating models of wired links and being able to make appropriate tradeoffs.\nTeam player with interest in filing up gaps in product development, as needed.\nExpectations\nDevelop the Validation, Characterization boards\nSet up and Manage the lab and its equipment\nDo the pre-silicon emulation on the FPGA Platform\nDo the Silicon Valtion and Characterization\nDo the ATE Vs System Correlations\nDevelop automated scripts for doing bench testing of parts for early customer samples\nWork on the Data Sheets\nDevelop the Evaluation
