This role will be critical to ensuring proper guest satisfaction and quick resolution for any maintenance issues.\nPlease note this is a PM shift role.\n\nResponsibilities:\nAssist the Director of Engineering with the full upkeep of the preventative maintenance, including the keeping of logs on work done, scheduling and the assignment of projects and other related tasks.\nAssist the Director of Engineering with the procurement of supplies and the issuance of purchase orders.\nEnsure CARE and PRP programs are properly maintained and inspect rooms after work is complete.\nManage Synergy application daily to plan and update as needed.\nReview work orders and assign work by priorities.\nMaintain up-to-date inventories of heat, light & power and repair and maintenance supplies.\nRespond to guest requests.\nWork with the Engineering staff on a shift basis and coordinate their activities.\nAssume full responsibility for the Engineering Department in the absence of the Director of Engineering.\nHave a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation.\nHave a thorough understanding of Omni's job scenarios.\nMust be familiar with Omni's Systems and Services procedures.\nQualifications:\n3+ years of experience within an upscale hotel or resort engineering team is required.\nPrior leadership experience is strongly preferred.\nMust be willing to work based on business levels and occupancy levels. \nMust be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
