Through science, innovation and collaboration, we help customers use resources more efficiently, solve complex operational challenges and create lasting value for a changing world.\nAt Omnia, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts, contribute to meaningful challenges, and grow your career in a purpose-led organisation committed to innovation, learning and sustainable impact.\nInnovating to enhance life, together creating a greener future.\nROLE IMPACT\nTo provide an administrative and data collection service on environmental issues to the BME SHERQ management team, in collaboration with all BME sites.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDeliver production targets as per the schedule.\nTo monitor and track implementation of environmental legislation at all BME sites and verify closed-off actions\nTo track and monitor usage of diesel and other fuel sources\nTo conduct site audits on diesel inventory\n To liaise with spillage response service providers\nTo track costs related to environmental incidents\nTo support with environmental investigations\nTo collate data for carbon footprint updates to group SHERQ\nTo coordinate all activities for the ISO 14001 audit including document control\nTo monitor and provide feedback on CSI projects at BME sites in collaboration with HR\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nQualifications\nGrade 12 or equivalent\nSAMTRAC Certificate\nExperience\n2 years demonstrated experience in providing on time reporting and value adding administrative and data collection support on risk, safety, health, quality and environment.\n1 year demonstrated experience in D365 administration / Isometrics\nKey Competencies\nAttention to detail\nNumerical fluency/skills\nProven administration skills\nProblem solving - identify problems and review information to find practical solutions\nCritical Thinking\nCommitted to customer service backed with excellent communication skills (written, non-verbal and verbal)\nStrong people management and interpersonal skills\nExcellent interpersonal skills required, with the ability to liaise diplomatically and maintain solid business relationships with internal and external stakeholders\nAbility to deal with pressure\nDIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION\nA diverse team drives stronger outcomes.
